We're going to leave it there for today.

I'll leave you with Amy Lofthouse's report from Bristol, the scorecard and this brilliant bit of wicketkeeping from Amy Jones.

We'll be back on Tuesday for the men's first ODI against Sri Lanka, while the next women's game is on Wednesday.

    See you then.

Here's the moment that England won, with Tammy Beaumont's six before the Harmanpreet Kaur wide.

Player of the match Tammy Beaumont: "I thought it was a really good wicket, and our bowlers did a really good job to keep to that score, and once you got in it was a really nice wicket to bat on.

"It's always great batting with Nat Sciver because she scores so quickly, so it doesn't matter if I soak up a few dots. We run so well too, and we've played so many games alongside each other now.

"My role is to try and bat for as long as possible, and there is such talent in our squad."

Sophia Dunkley will be delighted that England have won this game of course, but she didn't get to bat on her one-day debut.

Her time will come at some stage in this series.

It was a bit like a traffic jam with a couple of slow-moving vehicles blocking the others behind them. It was a bit of a mess, and a bit like the South Africa series where India lost at home, this game serves as a wake-up call in examining the brand of cricket that they want to play moving forward.

I do think this change is possible even within the space of one game, because it has to come out of necessity. It's not as if Poonam Raut and Mithali Raj don't have the gears. We've seen them play aggressively before so I do think they can change. Jemimah Rodrigues is sat on the bench pushing them to do that.

India are going to have some thinking to do before the next game on Wednesday.

England won that game with 15.1 overs to spare, which means the tourists were well short of posting a challenging total.

Strike-rates will be a big thing for them. Only Shafali Verma hit at over 100, with Mithali Raj and Punam Raut being at 66 and 52 runs per 100 balls.

England captain Heather Knight on Sky Sports: "It was really clinical. Katherine Brunt and Anya Shrubsole set the tone. The bowlers were outstanding, and to finish it that clinically, makes it a good day at the office.

"The short bowling was a plan. We felt the pitch had the pace, and India obviously aren't used to it. The bowlers have been working on it, and it was really effective today.

"Nat Sciver is brilliant to have in our side. She scores quickly, she's lovely to bat with. Tammy Beaumont is in great form - she is a real rock for us and it's brilliant to see her doing so well."

  8. Postpublished at 17:28 British Summer Time 27 June 2021

India captain Mithali Raj on Sky Sports: "We lacked intent in all three departments. We needed another top-five batsman to stay there, and our bowlers could be more consistent with their length, and our fielding needs to improve.

"We need to address the number of dot balls, and will try to in the next game.

"England definitely have an experienced attack, they know the conditions well and what lengths to bowl. We'll look to show more intent, to score more funs, in the next game.

"We'll look at the composition of the team of the next game too, in terms of an any extra spinner and the batting line-up too."

I think there's so much pressure on Smriti and Verma at the top of the order which isn't necessarily a good thing. They're both so explosive, it's just whether they can get going.

But to sum it up, England were absolutely clinical.

England were also brilliant, and clinical, with the ball.

    They didn't give India sniff.

  11. Postpublished at 17:20 British Summer Time 27 June 2021

Nat Sciver was brilliant at the other end too, scoring 74 off 74 balls.

Those two innings were the key difference. Not only did they make good contributions, they did it at a good lick too. We thought India were far too slow at the time, and in hindsight they were probably at least 100 runs light, if not more!

  12. Postpublished at 17:17 British Summer Time 27 June 2021

Tammy Beaumont finished unbeaten on 87 from 87 balls. She was superb again, and capitalised on any bad balls from the Indian bowlers.

She might not have a settled opening partner, but it isn't affecting her form.

A comprehensive victory which you could almost have predicted in the first 10 overs after Smriti Mandhana and Shafali Verma got out. If they got going it could've given India some impetus, but from that moment on from the 11th over to the 30th, it was disappointing.

India weren't all out, they had wickets in hand and you feel India need to change their approach and mindset more than anything. Lots to think about from an Indian perspective but a thorough, all-round performance from England.
