    Tammy

A brilliant innings from Tammy Beaumont. She's played her shots and she's taken good singles. England in the driving seat and much of that is down to their opener.

Radha Yadav comes back in to try again after a case of the yips in her first over.

  5. Eng 80-2published at 10 overs

Eng need 69 from 60 balls

Almost one of the most comical moments you'll ever see in cricket. Tammy Beaumont goes to clip it to the leg side, loses control of her bat which flies up in the air and could so easily have landed on the stumps.

It would have been a definite 'What happened next?' contender on Question of Sport.

Deepti Sharma bowls good variations but England happy to prod and poke away for six singles.

Time for a bit of Deepti Sharma as Harmanpreet Kaur rotates her bowlers.

I don't understand Poonam Yadav's plan here - you need to take wickets here to win matches. Bowling so wide means the only way you can get one of these two out is through a mis-timed cut shot.

  8. Eng 74-2published at 9 overs

    Beaumont 47, Knight 11

Plenty of flight from Poonam Yadav and Tammy Beaumont drags it towards long-leg. Terrific piece of fielding from Sneh Rana as she runs from deep mid-wicket to save one run.

Yadav goes wide outside off, Beaumont follows her and pulls through the leg side for four. Clever batting and Beaumont moves nearer her half-century.

These two are rotating the strike well. A few times with India when a new batter arrived at the crease, we saw dot balls.

  10. Eng 74-2published at 8 overs

There's chants of both England and India in the crowd as Sneh Rana continues.

Tammy Beaumont has slowed down a little since the hosts lost Wyatt and Sciver. But it's still a good over for England as the pair find the gaps and pick up singles.

  11. Eng 58-1published at 7.1 overs

Much better from the England captain as she plays a scrumptious reverse sweep down to third man. Four from the moment it left the bat.

Knight is struggling to get going, which is what happened in the first game when she got six off 10 balls.

  13. Eng 54-2published at 7 overs

Poonam Yadav comes on with her floaty leg-spinner.

She's bowling very slowly (around 35mph) which actually proves difficult for Heather Knight to get away. Just the two from the over.

  14. Eng 52-2published at 6 overs

    Target 149

The end of the Powerplay - a lot has happened.

Tammy Beaumont has played some glorious shots, India are still in it but England bat deep.

  15. Eng 49-2published at 5.3 overs

Sneh Rana comes into the attack after that over to forget from Radha Yadav.

The off-spinner is swept down to fine leg for two by Beaumont.

A much better delivery from Rana beats Beaumont, there's a huge appeal from bowler and fielder but India decide not to review.

Replays show the sound was the ball hitting Beaumont's trouser pocket.

That is a really good catch...

Oh, what happened there, oh it's a free hit.

  17. Eng 47-2published at 5 overs

    Beamonth 30, Knight 3

And she's caught! The crowd cheer, unaware it's a free hit.

  18. Eng 45-2published at 4.5 overs

Almost a carbon copy of the Nat Sciver dismissal as Ghosh fumbles behind the stumps, turns and has a shy at the stumps.

She doesn't hit the stumps this time but Knight was home anyway. It's a no-ball so another free hit for England.

  19. Eng 43-2published at 4.2 overs

    Target 149

Do not bowl short and wide to Tammy Beaumont!

Arundhati Reddy misjudges her line and length and is dispatched to the deep point boundary.

This does happen - as spin bowlers when you're under pressure and it's not coming out right, you can go stiff and rigid when you need to be fluid in your action. It's not nice to watch.
