That was extremely optimistic.

That was extremely optimistic.
Not England's best review, let's put it that way.
Very high up on the pad and no edge.
Ian Chappell
Former Australia captain on Test Match Special
It seemed like a 50-50 appeal. Turning Broad down is a difficult thing is a captain.
Is this for an lbw or a catch?! I'm not entirely sure but it's David Warner. Broad was in true celebrappeal mode there.

Harry W: Screamer from Jos, but that is distinctly average from Harris.
Andrew Stone: Ah the surprise leg-side long hop from Broad, always a dangerous one.

Labuschagne looked the most comfortable at Brisbane. He is a key wicket.
Marnus Labuschagne is the new batter and extravagantly leaves his first ball, followed by a rather unnecessary squeal of 'No run.'

That is what England needed. I have liked the energy of Stuart Broad this afternoon.
England had the fielder around the corner so Harris didn't want to just flick off his hip.

That is the worst delivery Broad has bowled.
Harris c Buttler b Broad 3 (Aus 4-1)
First strike of the day and what a catch!
It is a terrible ball but Stuart Broad and England will not care. Short, going down leg side, but Marcus Harris chases it and Jos Buttler pulls off a stunning Superman-style dive, pouching the ball just off the ground.

This is Australia's lowest score after seven overs.
Anderson beats Warner outside the off stump once again and I'm sure I don't need to describe his facial expression to you, do I?
Warner remains on nought from 18 balls.

The excitement of Branderson bowling again is keeping me wide awake...I'm just fearful of the midday crash later, during the peak of the working day (if my boss is listening, can we move that meeting?)

Broad is bowling a better length than Jimmy Anderson. If you are too short you waste the new ball.
Harris 3, Warner 0
Stuart Broad bowls a front foot no-ball to give away his first run.
Unlike the first Test, the technology is working here so the TV umpire is calling the no-balls.
David Warner is yet to score, having faced 12 balls...
Glenn McGrath
Ex-Australia bowler on BBC Test Match Special
I gave that out in real time but the ball tracking had it missing by quite a bit.
Missing and bouncing over leg stump!
Madness. That looked really close. Harris survives.

It is quite high actually...
Marcus Harris is given out lbw!
But he's reviewed ...
Glenn McGrath
Ex-Australia bowler on BBC Test Match Special
You always say if the batsmen are playing and missing you are probably bowling a little short.
