Replays show a faint inside edge, so good decisions all round.
Neither batter has looked particularly comfortable against Broad, though. Another maiden.

Broady loves an appeal. He thinks they're all out.
Harris got a good stride forward. There might have been some inside edge.
Big appeal! It's fuller from Broad and strikes Marcus Harris on the front pad.
As ever, Broad is desperate for some support but Root decides against it.

Olivia Rae: I wonder if not picking Broad is becoming a tactic to get him fired up.
Harris 3, Warner 0
Marcus Harris clips off his legs for Australia's first runs of the day.
Stuart Broad has to chase it, too. Not ideal when you're bowling next in this heat.

Jimmy must love cricket. His work ethic off the field must be incredible. This is his 167th Test.

Another maiden. Solid start for England.
It's so good to see Broad and Anderson (Branderson?!) back in full flow together.
This is great. Warner drives the ball back at Broad, who picks up and mock-throws at the batter.
Warner doesn't even bother making eye contact.

It looked a bit high but it was a misjudgement from Warner.
Warner is struck on the pad first ball!! Broad loves it, as you can imagine, but he doesn't get his review.
Here it is!! Time for Broad v Warner. The one we've all been waiting for.

It is a nice honour to be able to present someone their cap. Michael Neser was number 462. I get a bit nervous doing that. He was quite emotional which is good.
I am still happy with my 5-0, especially with Australia doing well. It will do a bit early but then there will be lots of runs out there. It is a big ask for Broad and Anderson. Bowling in the nets is not the same as the middle.

Anderson looked in pretty good shape there.
A maiden over from Anderson to start the day. Looks like there's some good pace and carry out there, promising signs early on.

The only pink ball game I have ever played in I was at second slip and this flash of pink just flew towards me. I dropped the catch.
Marcus Harris survives the first ball, leaving outside the off stump.
Jimmy Anderson has the new ball. Oh, it feels good to say those words again.

Stuart Broad is leaping around all the over the place. He has got to bowl in a minute. He'll be exhausted.
