Well, that just about wraps things up this evening. A thrilling night of cricket.

We'll leave you with a clip of that incredible finish as Alex Hales whacked the winning runs with a huge heave off a free hit to seal victory for Trent Rockets.

Hero of the match Rashid Khan said: "It w as a very good win for us, everyone contributed and that's very good to see. Two points and on to the next game.

"We had that belief in ourselves that 60-70 runs in the last five, with a clear mind, we can chase it down.

"When I went in, I just wanted to score 25-30 quick runs. Am I an all-rounder? I think so, maybe people don't put me in that category but I want to prove I am. I always have that belief in myself."

Alex Hales, speaking to Sky Sports after play, said: "It was a different innings and I had to just hang in there. I couldn't middle it at any point. At this ground you're never out of the game. I thought if we took it deep we could cash in at the death.

"Rashid Khan took the pressure off with a good knock. It was an interesting chase and one which will stay with me a long time.

"I don't think I've ever seen Ben Stokes drop a catch. He is one of the best in the world. It wasn't a great pitch but Trent Bridge is a fast-scoring ground. We have a good team and we have to keep learning and adapting."

Mike Crew: You know The Hundred might just catch on. What we’ve seen so far has been brilliant. Top quality cricket and fascinating contests. There’s a lot to be said about the ECB but I think they might just have got this one spot on.

Take a bow Alex Hales. He backed himself and knew that if he was there at the end, Trent Rockets had a chance. And they've ended up winning it with five balls remaining. Certainly not his most destructive innings but he's won them the game.
