The umpire didn't even think about it - the finger went straight up.

    Short lbw b Mujeeb 14

Afghanistan spinner Mujeeb ur Rahman into the action. A mystery spinner, but D'Arcy Short creates some width and squirts the ball through point for four. A ball later he has him lbw, however, as he messes up a sweep shot. It was reviewed by Short but the decision stands.

Hindsight is a wonderful thing but this second set of five for David Willey does not look like a good decision.

  4. Rockets 16-0published at 91 balls left

A delicious drive from Alex Hales as he dispatches David Willey straight down the ground for four. Stand and deliver.

Maybe David Willey should not have continued after all...

  6. Rockets 10-0published at 94 balls left

First ball of his second set of five and David Willey is flicked almost effortlessly for six by D'Arcy Short. Great shot by the Aussie.

For a Monday, this crowd has blown me away. It is like T20 quarter-final crowd in the T20 Blast.

  8. Rockets 2-0published at 98 balls left

Left-armer David Willey starts for Superchargers and the Rockets are up and running after D'Arcy Short nudges at it but Mujeebur Rahman fumbles it and they run two.

Thanks Jack. That certainly feels like a modest total. This is all set-up for one of those types of innings from Joe Root where he accumulates runs by knocking it into gaps, punishes the bad ball, but without ever really being explosive.

The Trent Rockets women's side did struggle in their chase against the Northern Superchargers earlier on this pitch, albeit trying to chase down the biggest score in the competition so far.

D'Arcy Short, Alex Hales, Dawid Malan and Joe Root.

That's a heck of a top four. I'm backing Trent Rockets at this stage.

But Superchargers spinners Adil Rashid, Callum Parkinson and Mujeeb ur Rahman will be hoping to strike early and make it a tricky chase.

The Superchargers have done well to get to 132 given they were in a bit of strife early on. John Simpson has done a job for them. I think Trent Rockets will be confident they can chase this down.

Rashid run out (Wood) 10 (Superchargers 132 all out)

Oh Adil. That is ridiculous. But not in the good way.

Another good yorker from Marchant de Lange that Adil Rashid jams his bat down on and the ball runs away to deep point.

Never two on but Rashid turns and goes for it and is duly run out by miles.

So the Superchargers don't even manage to bat all 100 balls and set Trent Rockets 133 to win.

An extraordinary shot from Adil Rashid, but he has nailed it with a kind of helicopter shot.

  18. Superchargers 131-9published at 98 balls

    Oh Adil. That is ridiculous.

Marchant de Lange sends down a yorker on the toes but Adil Rashid whips his wrists round in a motion reminiscent of former India captain MS Dhoni's helicopter shot. Think a bat twirling through the air akin to a propeller.

The result is a sumptous four.

  19. Superchargers 127-9published at 97 balls

Matt's brother Callum Parkinson taps a single to get off the mark.

Oh that was another no ball from Marchant de Lange as well!

Adil Rashid has the chance to absolutely flay at this next one...

There's the very real prospect of the Superchargers now failing to bat out their 100 deliveries now.
