His bowling was very tidy then and it's proving so again here.

Harry Brook was impressive in his first match in The Hundred. He played his natural game and smoked it. He's a key wicket for the Superchargers.
And Samit Patel continues the fine work of his team-mates.
No bad balls and only four runs conceded.

Matt Carter's second five not as successful - a couple of wides before Adam Lyth carves a lofted drive away for four. Fine shot.
But Trent Rockets will be the happier side after the powerplay.

Carter is only playing because Steven Mullaney has been identified as a possible close contact of Rockets head coach Andy Flower, who has tested positive for Covid-19.
A few more wickets and he might well be making himself undroppable.
A big lbw shout against new man Harry Brook is not given. Brook is curiously wearing dark pink pads instead of purple. Have they been caught out in the rain and some of the colour washed out?
