Jason Roy is flying here.
The tournament has been waiting for him to get going, and he does absolutely love Edgbaston.
He picks up another boundary with a slap for a one-bounce four through square leg.
Roy 32, Ingram 9
There are some fireworks going off not too far from Edgbaston. Jason Roy just carries on. I'm not sure I'd be able to do that if I'm being honest.
Bowlers not being able to get out of an over/set happens often in cricket, but it feels like it has happened so often in The Hundred so far.
Tom Helm had only gone for five off his first four balls, before Roy times the absolute pants off a flick to the square leg boundary.

Tahir likes that - but then he is not a bowler that holds back when it comes to enthusiasm.
Earlier in the set Imran Tahir appealed very enthusiastically for an lbw shout against Jason Roy as he looked to reverse sweep.
He was outside the line though.
Smack!
Short and wide from Imran Tahir and Jason Roy just whacks it to the cover boundary.
Dreadful bowling.

That sweep was wonderfully played by Roy - he got down nice and low.
Offt! Crunched to the boundary by a sensational Jason Roy pull shot.

It was only a matter of time before Roy freed his arms against the off-spin. It quite comfortably cleared the fielder.
Jason Roy will have faced Moeen Ali countless times in the nets but I doubt he was too many times in a competitive game.
He comes down the track, and Moeen throws it a little bit wider, but that allows Roy to free his arms and he plonks it about 10 rows back over mid-on.
Lovely shot.

It's a coup for the Phoenix to have Moeen for the foreseeable future. There was talk about whether he would be involved in the Test squad or not. He's a hell of a player.
With the powerplay done Moeen Ali decides to bring himself into the attack.
Colin Ingram looked in absolutely no touch on Monday night. He's off the mark second ball, before slapping his third to the boundary.
If you're playing Hundred bingo you can tick off hybrid pitch. I'm not sure I'd ever heard it before The Hundred and now it is getting thrown about every 10 minutes.

Pat Brown has had a lot of injury issues and time out of the game. It's a big moment for him - he's worked his way back up to fitness and to run in and get a wicket first ball will be a big confidence boost.
Jacks c Smeed b Brown 13 (Invincibles 23-1)
Pat Brown strikes first ball!
It is the off cutter from Brown and Will Jacks gets a leading edge to Will Smeed in the covers.
He lost it in the lights slightly, but he completes a simple catch in the end.
A single ends Adam Milne's second set.
That was a good set for the visitors with 11 runs coming from it.

That was a ferocious shot.
Take that!
Stand and deliver from Will Jacks as he smacks Adam Milne straight back past his head and it whistles to the straight boundary.
