    Six more!

A little flatter this time from Will Smeed and it nearly takes out an unwitting cameraman who happens to be walking past at the wrong time.

  2. 6 runs

    118 runs needed

    Oh, hello!

Will Smeed leans back and absolutely tonks Sunil Narine into the stands for another large one.

I think there is definitely FOMO (fear of missing out) among players. I've spoke to a few that have missed out and they are gutted.

Those that aren't involved this year have to put their hand up in the T20 Blast and the 50-over competition for next year.

Moeen Ali is off the mark straight away, but that's a good set of five from Shamsi.

It is a big start from Tabraiz Shamsi. Liam Livingstone just didn't quite time it properly. The crowd are disappointed.

Oval Invincibles do need to get rid of Liam Livingstone because if we see 20 or 25 balls of him then he will probably have broke the back of this chase.

  12. Phoenix 39-1published at 76 balls left

Liam Livingstone tries to whack Reece Topley into the centre of Birmingham and misses by a mile.

The Hundred is 10 years overdue. I think it is amazing.

I am sad that I won't get a chance to play in it, but it is played in the height of the summer, and it pays good money so you can attract big players like Rashid Khan, Andre Russell and David Warner.

    It is fantastic.

  14. Phoenix 38-1published at 79 balls left

    135 runs needed

Reece Topley returns for Invincibles, and is instantly driven to the boundary by Will Smeed. Ouch.

This is looking more and more like a batters' paradise. It is skidding on and just rolling away on the outfield. It is like a billiards table out there.

  16. Phoenix 34-1published at 80 balls

    139 runs needed

Birthday boy Liam Livingstone comes out to join Will Smeed, who sends a nice-looking cut shot away for four.

This won't be how Sam Billings expected to break up the partnership when he threw the ball to Sunil Narine.

Allen hit wicket 23 (Phoenix 28-1)

    Well, no-one expected that!

Finn Allen goes deep into his crease and treads on the stumps with his back foot! That is a horror way to get out.
