All times stated are UK

  1. Originals 68-3

Tymal Mills is a very good bowler, varying his speeds to deceive the batters. He goes for just three from his set of five and he's making batting look very difficult.

  2. Originals 64-3

A strange shot from Munro, who goes for a switch-hit - swapping from batting right handed to left - but he goes so early that Lintott can change where he bowls it and can only club it in the air for a single.

    Lydia Greenway

Ex-England batter on BBC Radio 5 Live Sports Extra

Jake Lintott is bowling well - the ball is skidding on and it's hurrying the batters.

  4. Originals 57-3

Colin Munro whacks Jake Lintott straight back over his head for four more.

Lintott was bowling well, the slow pitch was suiting his spin bowling so it'll be interesting to see how he responds having been hit for that boundary.

  5. New batter: Sam Hain

The ball slightly turned into him, and he just helped it into Chris Jordan's waiting hands.

  7. WICKET

    Ackermann c Jordan b Lintott 11 (Originals 54-3)

    One Colin down.

You can see why he was trying to go for it with the rain hovering and the reduced amount of balls - he was trying to hit it into the stands, but it went straight to Chris Jordan on the boundary and he doesn't drop many.

  8. Post update

Before the rain fell, Tymal Mills took Southern Brave's first wicket and it was a pretty decent one, too.

  9. Originals 53-2

The fielders are struggling out there with the wet ground and wet ball, slipping and sliding all over the place.

But the Colins are going well for the Originals as they bring up their team's 50.

  10. Originals 48-2

A crunching shot for four from Colin Munro will ease the pressure on the Originals.

And I think we lost five balls because of that last break so there should be 50 left from now. It's all very confusing and hard to keep up, please forgive me.

  11. Post update

I think it's fair to say that Chris Jordan enjoyed getting the wicket of Phil Salt after being hit for three consecutive fours...

It's murky with heavy cloud cover now.

  13. Originals 39-2

Two Colins are at the crease for the Originals, Munro and Ackermann.

I don't think I've ever met anyone called Colin. There don't seem to be many of them around any more.

In other news, I think it's raining again.

  14. Originals 36-2

I'm not sure whether we lost any balls from that short break - it wasn't particularly long so probably not.

  15. Post update

And now the covers are coming off and the players are coming on.

  16. It's Raining

Aaaaand the players are coming off and the covers are coming on.

There was more venom in that delivery from Chris Jordan. It lifted off the back of a length.

  18. WICKET

    Salt c de Kock b Jordan 19 (Originals 36-2)

    What a strange dismissal!

Well, it's a pretty standard caught behind but no one really appealed and next thing you know, Salt is walking off. Chris Jordan seemed as if he knew he hit it, but there was no celebration from anyone else.

It was a good response from Jordan having been hit for those three fours.

We have a Phil and a Colin in the middle for Manchester.
