  1. Goodbye!

Tonight's no result takes Manchester Originals men to the top of the table - but they are tied on points with both Birmingham Phoenix and Trent Rockets - the latter have played one less game, however.

Southern Brave jump one place up to sixth.

And that's it from us. Thanks for following, and good night!

  2. Post update

Thanks for joining us tonight, despite the disappointment of the weather.

If you still need your cricket fix, there's plenty to catch upon. You can catch the best bits from the second day of the Test between England and India here.

And whilst the men's game has sadly been abandoned, Manchester Originals got their first win on the board in the women's fixture - with Alex Hartley taking three wickets.

  3. MATCH ABANDONED

Unfortunately, the rain wins and this game has been abandoned.

The teams will take one point each.

  4. Post update

It is still raining and the players have to be out there by 21:38 BST at the latest if this game is to resume.

  5. Post update

Contrasting rain opinions from Alex and Henry there. I wonder who will be proved right ...

The weather comes in from the left here and it does look pretty grim over there.

The rain doesn't feel like it's falling as though it's set in - there are patches of clear sky.

  8. Originals 98-3

And it's proper raining now. And when I say proper, you know it's proper because I come from Wales.

This might be it for the Originals innings now as the players and umpires make their way off the pitch.

  9. Originals 98-3

It appears that the ball is too wet and they've changed it for a dry one. It's raining and the grass is soaking so I'm not sure what they're expecting with this move.

The players are sliding and skidding in the outfield. It looks fun out there!

  11. Originals 97-3

The Originals are just ticking things over, it seems, and waiting for a big explosion at the end.

Is this a good score? It's hard to tell with the reduced balls and a wet outfield.

  12. Originals 93-3

How's that missed?! It's a beautiful ball from Chris Jordan, right on the batter's toes, and somehow Sam Hain gets the slightest bit of bat on it so it goes for four.

I think the double headers of women's then men's matches have been brilliant. They should continue it next year but flip it so one day the women start and the men finish and vice-versa the next day.

  14. Originals 86-3

    What's happened there?!

Sam Hain goes for the reverse sweep, gets bat on it but somehow wicketkeeper Quinton de Kock dives full length to stop it. Colin Munro is halfway down the pitch but he makes it back in time to avoid being run out.

It was a remarkable piece of wicketkeeping.

We have bad shirt day every day when Daniel Norcross is around.

    Alex Hartley

Manchester Originals bowler on BBC Radio 5 Live Sports Extra

We are having a team night where we all wear bad shirts. I am going to go to the team room after this commentary.

Alex, have you come dressed as Austin Powers?

  18. Originals 82-3

And Munro finishes the set with a four down the ground! He's on the charge and Originals will be desperate for him to be there at the end.

  19. Originals 74-3

That will help, though! Munro gets hold of this one from Chris Jordan and pulls it firmly into the stands for the first six of the game.

Tymal Mills is wearing a yellow wristband. I wonder if that's in honour of his beloved Norwich City?
