That was clever bowling by Narine. He just pulled his length back a little bit, and there was spin. There has been some invariable bounce in this pitch, that kept a little bit low.

  2. Rockets 8-1published at 60 balls left

    Target 126

This match really has been relentless. Malan is beaten by Narine now and the ball scurries low to go between the legs of keeper Sam Billings. It runs all the way to the boundary for four byes, spoiling Narine's good start a little.

They say he doesn't start strong but his strike-rate is currently 400!

  4. Rockets 4-1published at 61 balls left

Malan begins with a drive through the covers for four. You can't do a lot more than that.

This is an opportunity for Dawid Malan to show that he can score at a higher rate. These opportunities may present themselves for England.

It is a good option, but he just didn't quite get it over. That is one as a batter where you're annoyed because a yard either side of him you're getting a boundary.

A dream start for the Oval Invincibles and Sunil Narine! After two dots he nips in with the wicket of the dangerous Aussie D'Arcy Short.

  10. Rockets 0-0published at 65 balls left

Sunil Narine to D'Arcy Short to begin.

Rockets need 126 runs from 65 balls to win.

Alex Hales has looked out of nick, but he has found a way in this tournament. He has scored runs, maybe just not as fast as we expected.

It will be interesting to see if they keep Dawid Malan at three or if they promote a hitter.

    I'm teasing...

Anyway. We're about to get back under way again. Tom Curran looks up for this.

I need a lie down after that. Sixes, wickets, dropped catches. It was as chaotic as it promised to be.

Matt Henry will take you through the Rockets' chase of 126.

Jason Roy was dropped on 17 - that ended up costing Rockets 39 runs.

You can't afford to drop the England opener when he is in that sort of form...

Catch of the tournament so far?

Laurie Evans finished with a cheeky three-ball nine there. Just casually striking at 300. Not bad.

Oval Invincibles got 21 runs from the final 10 balls. They might be a bit disappointed with that I think.

This should be an absolute cracker with the likes of Alex Hales, D'Arcy Short, Dawid Malan and Samit Patel - who hit five sixes to win Rockets' last game against Welsh Fire - in the Rockets batting line-up.
