    The umpires are still out there. They've just finished chatting to the Invincibles coach and captain Tom Moody and Sam Billings.

    There seems to be a lot of people with their arms crossed trying to make decisions. There will be some wondering why things haven't got under way.

    There's a really good crowd building at The Oval too. This could be really disappointing.

  7. The umpires are currently talking to the groundsmen about a certain patch of the outfield that is about 10-15 yards in from the point/square-leg boundary.

    Nick Cook has his arms out remonstrating. He doesn't seem too happy.

    We haven't had any further rain since the women's game, the sun has been out and the players have been out training.

    In truth, it isn't a great look for the game. The outfield must be very damp to cause this delay.
