A single brings Davidson-Richards on strike. She's played a brilliant supporting role this afternoon and hits the winning runs!

Northern Superchargers win by six wickets, with 15 balls remaining.

What an outstanding comeback! They were 0-1, 2-2, 7-3 and 19-4.

But it is has been the Jemimah Rodrigues show!

    Need 7 from 20 balls

Easy, easy, easy. Four, four, four.

A free hit is on offer after a no-ball and Rodrigues squirts the ball through the leg side.

A mistimed drive clears the inner-field.

Alice Macleod bowls a terrible short delivery and Rodrigues sends it packing.

There hasn't been a lot to shout about for Welsh Fire for quite a while, so here's another look at Sarah Taylor working her magic earlier...

This is an unbelievable innings. Rodrigues is finding the gaps with absolute ease.

    Need 37 from 35 balls

Piepa Cleary offers some width and Jemimah Rodrigues hangs back in her crease and cuts the ball for four.

Wow! Even better from the opener as she plays an intentional edge to the right of wicketkeeper Sarah Taylor for back-to-back boundaries.

    Need 47 from 34 balls

Oh that is glorious Jemimah Rodrigues! It's pitched up by Nicole Harvey and the Superchargers opener drives through the off side for four.

And again, a carbon copy of the previous shot, to bring up her fifty.

Hold up, make that three fours in a row!!

Rodrigues is on the charge and her team are back in this!

This partnership is key. Other than these two, there's not much batting left.

  13. Superchargerspublished at 16:36 British Summer Time 24 July 2021

    Need 61 from 45 balls

All the while Rodrigues is there, Superchargers will have a chance. She smashes Hayley Matthews back down the ground for a one-bounce four.

The India batter then plays a delightful, delicate cut for another boundary. That is such a classy cricket shot, played with soft hands.

    Need 71 from 50 balls

And Taylor almost treats us to another stunning piece of wicketkeeping! Davidson-Richards plays and misses, Taylor gathers the ball behind the stumps and waits for a moment for the batter to go off balance and then whips off the bails.

Sarah Taylor is considered one of the finest wicketkeepers to play the game. And she showed us just why today when her quick thinking and quick hands contributed to Laura Wolvaardt's run out.

  18. Superchargers 35-4published at 16:19 British Summer Time 24 July 2021

    Need 96 from 70 balls

Superchargers' hopes lie almost solely on Jemimah Rodrigues, and she's doing what she can.

She goes up and over the fielder at mid-off for six, and then sloppy fielding from Hayley Matthews gifts Rodrigues four more.

Each of these Hundred games has a 'host' who pops up on the big screen, speaking to fans and trying to get the crowd going.

The one at Headingley has just tried to start a rendition of happy birthday for one sheepish-looking man who looked to be in his thirties. If it had gone on any longer he'd have been the same colour as the Welsh Fire kit.

  20. Superchargers 24-4published at 75 balls left

    Need 107 from 75 balls

Opener Jemimah Rodrigues is still there, by the way. She's scored 9 from 4 balls but is running out of partners.
