    West Indies favourites now?

It was wide, it was there to hit but again it didn't get up enough. It's not a pitch to play those extravagant drives on.

    Naim b Holder 17 (Ban 29-2)

Jason Holder points his finger and wheels away in celebration. You can't help but love him.

Mohammad Naim goes for a cut but the slow, sticky, stodgy nature of this pitch sees Mohammad Naim chop onto his stumps.

Bangladesh can't afford to leave this until the end the way West Indies did because they haven't got those hitters lower down the order.

  5. Ban 26-1published at 5 overs

    Naim 16, Das 1

There was almost a flicker of a smile from Andre Russell after that wicket. Less so now as Naim repeats his earlier pull and heaves it for four a little unconvincingly.

It has been an interesting start.

I've played a lot against Liton Das in the Bangladesh Premier League. He's so talented, particularly in his home conditions so this should suit him and he has a big opportunity to show it.

Liton Das is Bangladesh's number three today.

Andre Russell has used his cutter nicely there. Shakib was trying to hit it for six but that's never easy with the pace just taken off it slightly.

West Indies are very much still in this. Bangladesh haven't got away from them yet.

  10. wicket

    WICKETpublished at 4.3 overs

    Shakib c Holder b Russell 9 (Ban 21-1)

Now Andre Russell does strike! Shakib Al Hasen, Bangladesh's key man, skies a top-edge and Jason Holder doesn't drop those.

Maybe he should stick to backward point.

Would you believe it? Things don't get better for Andre Russell. They get worse!

Hayden Walsh has dropped a sitter off his bowling.

Dre Russ is coming on for a bowl.

In the words of D:ream - things can only get better...

That was brilliant from Hayden Walsh.

  16. Ban 20-0published at 4 overs

    Target 143

The sweeps will come later but you're not going to see many of them off Jason Holder's bowling. You'd end up needing a jaw reconstruction.

Dwayne 'DJ' Bravo is grinning after making an untidy but effective stop in the field. West Indies look on it.

Bangladesh will be used to playing on pitches like this. We'll probably see them utilise the sweep and reverse sweep a little more than West Indies did.

  18. Ban 17-0published at 3 overs

Need 126 more runs to win

37-year-old Ravi Rampaul uses his experience to drag the over back after the early boundary. I was surprised to learn England's team have an older average age than the West Indies one.

Some of these players feel like they've been around forever.

  19. Ban 14-0published at 2.1 overs

    Four more!

Mohammad Naim looked decent in Bangladesh's opener against Sri Lanka and here he latches onto some short stuff from Rampaul.

Bangladesh will be happy with this start. Both batters look in decent touch.
