  1. Ind 70-0published at 4.5 overs

That wasn't the worst delivery in the world but Rohit smacks it off a length for a one-bounce four.

  2. 6 runs

    Ind 65-0published at 4.3 overs

It's too short from Brad Wheal and KL Rahul pulls it away for a six - there was a Scotland fielder out there but could get a touch on the ball with a despairing dive.

  3. Ind 59-0published at 4.2 overs

KL Rahul sends a cross-batted slap over mid-on but he doesn't quite time it so they only run two.

Next up he drives into the offside and it squirms through the cover field for four.

The fielder should have done better there, though it won't make much difference.

Rohit brings up the India 50 with a lovely flick through mid-wicket for four.

This is fearsome stuff from India. The good news for Scotland is this won't last very long.

  9. Ind 49-0published at 3.3 overs

Safyaan Sharif has a puzzled look on his face as Rohit carves him away for another four.

Rohit Sharma, when he's in form, is the best batter to watch in the world.

  11. Ind 45-0published at 3.1 overs

    Enjoy this while it lasts.

Rohit Sharma picks a slower delivery from Safyaan Sharif and hammers it through mid-wicket for another huge six.

They are trying to hit every ball for a boundary at the moment.

  12. Ind 38-0published at 2.5 overs

Now it is Rohit's turn. Evans once again is too full but these India batters are in ruthless mood as Rohit chips the ball over mid-off for four.

This is what frustrates India fans. When KL Rahul can bat like this, why doesn't he do it more often? In the IPL, he seems happy to take ones and twos.

That was the best shot so far - dismissive!

  15. Ind 33-0published at 2.3 overs

    That is ridiculous.

It is too full from Evans but how cool is that from KL Rahul? He just nonchalantly clips the ball off his pads into the on side for a huge six! Effortless.

  16. Ind 27-0published at 2.1 overs

Alasdair Evans is the new bowler and puts it right in the slot for KL Rahul who drives it for four.

KL Rahul is picking the length beautifully. He knows exactly what the bowler is trying to do.

Every delivery, they're looking for a boundary at the moment.

  19. Ind 22-0published at 1.5 overs

    It's another.

KL Rahul does get it down to fine leg this time and it's a third four of the over.

India are not wasting any time.

  20. Ind 17-0published at 1.3 overs

    Scruffy, but effective.

KL Rahul looks to pull backward of square but it comes off the toe end of the bat and squirts through mid-wicket for another four.
