What a strike that is.

That was within an inch of cleaning up the umpire.
Oh! Umpire Chris Gaffaney is down.
Fakhar Zaman drills a straight drive away and Gaffaney has to dive to the ground to avoid it.
Four more. The pressure is on Australia.

Wonderful shot. Effortless.
Pakistan have promoted Asif Ali up the order by the way.
A good move, if you ask me.
Six more for Fakhar Zaman! That has gone absolutely miles.

Very well played. Rizwan has got Pakistan into a very good position. It was good bowling from Starc. I don't know why Australia haven't bowled there to Rizwan earlier.

That was an excellent innings. Rizwan was just trying to chip it over the top.
Rizwan c Smith b Starc 67 (Pak 143-2)
Ah!
Good from Mitchell Starc. He is round the wicket, bowling wide outside off stump and Mohammad Rizwan has to reach for the ball but can only cue end it to Steve Smith at mid-off.
Rizwan falls for 67 off 52 balls. A very good innings.

Are Pakistan in danger of being like England and leaving too many runs in the dressing room?
Tony B
Mohammad Rizwan has batted beautifully.
Mohammad Rizwan charges Josh Hazlewood to end the over but can only pick up a single to long-off.
Not Hazlewood's best day. He finishes with figures of 0-49.
Phil Tufnell
Former England spinner on BBC Test Match Special
Rizwan is getting the balls to hit but he is putting them away beautifully.
Oh, my!
Mohammad Rizwan absolutely carts the free hit over long-on for an almighty six.
Pakistan are motoring.

It is a good shot because you are not expecting that.

It'll be a no-ball free hit and also a telling off. That was as flat a beamer as you'll see.
What is going on with Australia here? Their pace bowlers have been off it so far today.
Josh Hazlewood bowls a chest-high no-ball and Mohammad Rizwan pulls to the mid-wicker boundary too.
The pressure is on Australia.

That is only Fakhar's third six in the tournament. The next three Pakistan batsmen due in are all striking at two runs per ball.

That's more like it. It was a chip shot.
