Aus 89-3published at 10 overs
Target 177
I think I'd rather be in the Australia camp at the moment. 88 from 60 balls sounds do-able.
The players are coming together for a drink, a momentary pause in these gripping proceedings.

Hmmmm, well maybe, but while David Warner is there.

It just feels like Pakistan have got their noses in front.
Pakistan just have to get David Warner out. He's whacking everything. Four more to the Australia opener, this time off the pace of Hassan.

There will be twists and turns along the way, I'm absolutely certain of that.
Need 97 from 66 balls
Excuse me for being frivolous for a second... there is some impressive facial hair on show here. The bearded Shadab twirls away again to the moustached David Warner. Just a single.
This is tight.

Steve Smith never really settled if I'm honest. That is a very big wicket indeed.
Smith knew it as soon as he played the shot. He took a swipe at the wicket.
Smith c Fakhar b Shadab 5 (Aus 77-3)
Oh, Pakistan needed this. It's not David Warner but they have removed Steve Smith at least. Smith knows from the moment he top-edges a sweep he's done for. He swishes his bat furiously as Fakhar Zaman takes the catch.

David Warner is looking extremely dangerous.
David Warner is in prime party-pooping mode. Has he not read the script?
The Pakistan fans fall silent again as he launches Shadab into the second tier.

I don't necessarily think that was the dew that affected Mohammad Hafeez. I think it was just jammed in his fingers and it just went where his follow through was.
Target 177
Watching that again it is very impressive Warner managed to thwack the ball so far given it was scuttling along the ground. Warner and Maddie Hinch would make the start of a good hockey team on that evidence.

After that first ball Hafeez had figures of 0.0 overs, 0-7.
Hafeez bowls a wide now. I'm not sure this was the instruction from his skipper.

That is vile. It is a pie. The worst sort of pie. A double-bouncing pie.
I haven't seen one of those for years.
Hafeez goes hands on hips but if I bowled that I'd be looking to lose myself somewhere. It was horrendous.
WHAT IS THAT?!
Mohammad Hafeez comes on and starts with a horror ball that bounces three times on the way down. Warner chases after it and clubs it for a huge six.
Comically bad cricket.

Shadab Khan will not be happy with the width that he has given Steve Smith in that over. He'll be wanting to stay wicket to wicket.
Need 120 from 78 balls
It's a streaky start for Smith, who edges Shadab down through where a slip would have been fielding. He nods to his old mate David Warner before fiddling with those pads once more.
