  1. 100 runs

for Shan Masoodpublished at 15:57 British Summer Time 13 May 2022

    Derbys 194-1 v Worcs 368

Needless to say, this has been a good signing for Derbyshire.

Shan Masood has racked up the runs this season and adds another century to his tally.

This in 115 balls with eight fours.

    91, 62, 239, 219, 60 and 42 before today for the Pakistani.

    Super stuff. (Thanks Richie).

  2. Postpublished at 15:56 British Summer Time 13 May 2022

    Kent v Surrey 601-9

    Surrey bring up their 600.

A total that has been made without any batter scoring a century.

They made 603 against Gloucestershire in 2005 - a record total in the Championship without anyone scoring a hundred. They're on course to beat that.

  3. Tea at Headingleypublished at 15:54 British Summer Time 13 May 2022

    Yorkshire v Lancashire 521-7

Four wickets in the session for Yorkshire, including the run out of Keaton Jennings for a career-best 238, but they're still a long way behind in this Roses match.

Will the declaration come at tea? Possibly not.

  4. wicket

WICKETpublished at 15:47 British Summer Time 13 May 2022

De Grandhomme run out 66 (Kent v Surrey 587-9)

There's a bit of hesitancy between Jordan Clark and Colin de Grandhomme taking a quick single and De Grandhomme is run out.

Matt Quinn with the direct hit.

Dan Worrall is the last man in. Kent still need one more wicket to end their misery.

  5. Postpublished at 15:45 British Summer Time 13 May 2022

    Yorkshire v Lancashire 506-7

Jonny Bairstow is currently 61 not out off 25 balls for the Punjab Kings in the IPL, having hit seven sixes.

I'd imagine he's having a better time than if he was in the field with Yorkshire right now. They've gone through 157 overs.

  6. wicket

WICKETpublished at 15:36 British Summer Time 13 May 2022

    Salt c Lyth b Bess 37 (Yorkshire v Lancashire 504-7)

    Snaffled at slip.

Phil Salt drives and gets an edge to give Dom Bess his third wicket.

Still no declaration as Tom Bailey comes in at nine.

  7. Bears under waypublished at 15:35 British Summer Time 13 May 2022

    Warks 3-0 v Northants 597-6d

Warwickshire have 37 overs to face tonight and their mark to avoid the follow-on is a mighty 448.

  8. Postpublished at 15:29 British Summer Time 13 May 2022

    Yorkshire v Lancashire 501-6

500 up for Lancashire at Headingley.

All four Division One sides batting first have now passed 500 in their first innings. Madness!

  9. wicket

WICKETpublished at 15:19 British Summer Time 13 May 2022

    Scott lbw b Siddle 0 (Glos 0-1 v Som 591-7d)

Peter Siddle strikes first ball of the innings!

George Scott simply misses a full, straight delivery and the umpire’s finger is up almost before the appeal.

A golden duck for Scott and the perfect start - literally - for Somerset.

  10. wicket

WICKETpublished at 15:18 British Summer Time 13 May 2022

    Jacks c Cox b Gilchrist 20 (Kent v Surrey 559-8)

Will Jacks tries to swipe Nathan Gilchrist away but is caught deep in the leg-side by Jordan Cox.

    Surrey are eight down.

Will the declaration come? Not yet, as Jordan Clark comes in at 10! Surrey bat all the way down.

  11. Postpublished at 15:14 British Summer Time 13 May 2022

Will Lancashire get to 500 and declare to have a few overs at Yorkshire before tea?

  12. 100 runs

for Luke Procterpublished at 15:11 British Summer Time 13 May 2022

    Warks v Northants 597-6d

Second hundred of the season for Luke Procter.

He takes a low full toss from Rob Yates’ part-time off spin over long-on for his third six.

Gives him a century in 199 balls with eight fours.

He’s marshalled Northants well today to ensure they didn’t let a great position slip.

And Ricardo Vasconcelos has called them in.

They take tea now at Edgbaston.

  13. 50 runs

for de Grandhommepublished at 15:11 British Summer Time 13 May 2022

    Kent v Surrey 552-7

Colin de Grandhomme becomes the sixth Surrey batter to pass fifty in this innings.

Ollie Pope, Ben Foakes and Jamie Overton all got out in the 90s. Can the New Zealander go one better before they declare or are bowled out?

    Expect some fireworks...

  14. SOMERSET DECLAREpublished at 15:08 British Summer Time 13 May 2022

    Glos v Som 591-7d

Plenty on the board and Somerset have decided to pull out and have a dip at the Glosters before tea.

  15. 'Glamorgan lower-order leads recovery'published at 14:57 British Summer Time 13 May 2022

    Durham 311 v Glamorgan 219-7

    Martin Emmerson
    BBC Radio Newcastle

For the first time in the innings Glamorgan have managed to put together a stand of more than 50.

The partnership for the fifth wicket was 47 and it was 46 for the next one. The current partnership from Billy Root and Michael Neser is 56. Neser's 32 is his highest score for the county. Root is on 22 from 50 deliveries.

Glamorgan lost Kiran Carlson to the first delivery of the afternoon session as he was bowled by Matty Potts for 53. Potts then had Chris Cooke caught down the legside for 16.

Potts is in fine form. He's enjoying his best season so far with 28 dismissals. He looks bigger this year and a yard quicker. He will no doubt be on the radar of the England set up soon, if not already.

  16. Division Two latestpublished at 14:55 British Summer Time 13 May 2022

A couple of early strikes for Notts leave Middlesex 29-2 replying to 415 at Lord’s.

Glamorgan are battling back at Chester-le-Street and are now 215-7. Durham having made 311.

Shan Masood in the runs yet again for Derbyshire on 72 with his side 119-1 in response to Worcestershire’s 368.

And Sussex have waltzed past Leicestershire’s 210 at Grace Road, moving on to 216-3.

  17. wicket

WICKETpublished at 14:48 British Summer Time 13 May 2022

    Balderson lbw b Bess 4 (Yorkshire v Lancashire 471-6)

    And another for Dom Bess!

Left-hander George Balderson pushes forward and is struck on the front pad. Out.

That's three wickets for Yorkshire, and two for Bess, in this afternoon session.

  18. wicket

WICKETpublished at 14:39 British Summer Time 13 May 2022

    S Curran st Robinson b Linde 78 (Kent v Surrey 517-7)

    No century today.

There's no doubting he'll get a fair few in his career, but Sam Curran goes without reaching his maiden first-class hundred.

The left-hander overbalances trying to drive George Linde and is stumped.

That's 22 career fifties now for the England man.

  19. wicket

WICKETSpublished at 14:38 British Summer Time 13 May 2022

    Glos v Som 545-7

No career-best for Tom Abell as he falls for 142.

Goes to sweep Zafar Gohar and gets a top edge to deep square.

Wonderful innings from the Somerset captain.

No century for Lewis Gregory either has he pushes for a third run and is beaten by Brad Wheal’s throw from the boundary behind the wicketkeeper.

Gregory gone for 89 and some relief for the Glosters.

  20. Postpublished at 14:38 British Summer Time 13 May 2022

    Kent v Surrey 517-6

Sam Curran won't get a better chance to bring up a maiden first-class hundred you feel.

The all-rounder is on 78, the pitch is flat and the sun is shining at Beckenham.

Kent look pretty broken in the field. They've spent a lot of time bowling this season.
