Lancashire leggie Matt Parkinson is only the 10th bowler to take four wickets in an innings on Finals Day - but nobody has ever get a 'Finals-Day-Five-Fer'.
The first to get four in was James Ormond, with a match-winning 4-11 in the 2003 final against Warwickshire at Trent Bridge.
Since then, Jeremy Snape (4-22, Leicestershire v Essex, 2006 semi), Josh Cobb (4-22, Leicestershire v Somerset, 2011 final), David Willey (4-9, Northants v Surrey, 2013 final), Mark Wood (4-25, Durham v Yorkshire, 2016 semi), Jerome Taylor (4-20, Somerset v Sussex, 2018 final), Pat Brown (4-21, Worcester v Lancs, 2018 semi), Josh Davey (4-34, Somerset v Hampshire, 2021 semi) and Fred Klaasen (4-17, Kent v Sussex, 2021 semi). have all done it.
And only one of them, Taylor, ended up on the losing side. Ominous for Hampshire?
If it's any consolation to Hampshire, their total may be well below what they were hoping for, but the pressure of a final could tell on the team batting second.
In 2019, Worcestershire Rapids only managed 145-9 from their 20 overs, but it took a boundary off the final ball of the game for Essex Eagles to win it, by four wickets.

Lancashire will be absolutely thrilled with that performance.

It's been a tough innings for Hampshire losing wickets consistently. 152 is probably less than they were hoping for and I think Lancashire will be very happy with their performance. The game is certainly in Lancashire's favour.
Hants 152-8
Danny Lamb bowls a decent final over, no boundaries and eight runs off it.
Lancashire will be confident of chasing this down to claim their second title.
Hants 144-8
Right, it appears they've sorted that issue about fielders in the circle and everything seems okay.
Danny Lamb will bowl the last over.
Hants 144-8
The umpires are just checking how many fielders were inside the circle for that last ball of Richard Gleeson's previous over.
You have to have four in the circle. This is taking an age...

Edgbaston is in good voice, the ground does look terrific here, everyone is on their feet singing along to 'Hey Jude' having a good time.
Hants 144-8
Right then, six balls to go.
Danny Lamb will bowl the final over.
Hampshire would probably bite your arm off for 160.

Chris Wood's got hold of that one that's a GOOD strike! Where did that come from?
Hants 141-8
BETTER!
Chris Wood belts Richard Gleeson over long-on for a huge maximum.
Hampshire need a couple more of those in these remaining eight deliveries.

From the Hampshire point of view, the captain will be thinking, can we just edge over the 150 mark with only two wickets left? Hampshire need to just take their medicine and nudge it around.
Hants 133-8
Just as he was beginning to time the ball nicely, Ross Whiteley goes.
The left-hander had biffed Luke Wood down the ground for four earlier in the over but finishes it by skewing one into the off-side where Keaton Jennings clings on.
Left-armer Wood finishes with 2-26 off his four.
Can Hampshire still sneak up to 150?
Hants 125-7
Chris Wood smacks Tom Hartley towards cover - Keaton Jennings gets a hand on it but can't hold on.
Wood then relieves a bit of the pressure by carving the spinner in front of point for the first boundary since the 12th over.

This is quite hard work to watch now, Hampshire are just using up the balls and trying to eke out a few runs. They're probably going to limp to 130 .... if they're lucky!
Hants 117-7
Hampshire can't buy a boundary at the moment as Richard Gleeson concedes five singles off his third over.
But they do have Ross Whiteley at the crease.
If he stays in for these remaining four overs, anything is possible.

I think Hampshire should be trying to get this total to more than 125 in this game. Maybe 130 or 140 but it all depends on these two, Whitely and Wood, at the crease.

Lancashire have done well here, getting regular wickets and not letting Hampshire get any kind of partnership going.
Hants 112-7
A wonderful spell from Matt Parkinson finishes.
4-26 from his four overs for the England spinner.
