Target 201
There was a bit of chat between Warner and Boult there too. Boult's first look at Finch, the Aussie skipper playing and missing by about a foot.

A beautiful ball. Pitched about middle. Warner gets caught on the crease and could have gone right into the hands of second slip.
Target 201
Where's the second slip? Catcher gone, Warner edges for four.

Emu: Incoming controversial….Finn Allen is an in form Jason Roy.
Target 201
Two slips for Boult.
Do let me know what you're up to this morning. Lie-in? Early start? Are you mulling over a bid to be the next Prime Minster? Text and tweet.
The hosts need 201 to get the defence of their title off to a winning start. David Warner and Aaron Finch are in the middle, Trent Boult has the ball. Remember, England v Afghanistan is still to come at 12:00.
Morning. Seeing the Aussies flayed isn't the worst start to a weekend, is it?
That will take some chasing from Australia but they are reigning champions and it is a good batting pitch, so New Zealand will have to back up their efforts with the bat with some disciplined bowling.
It's time for me to take a break and hand over to Stephan Shemilt to recap that first innings and guide you through Australia's chase.

After being put in to bat, Finn Allen started the fireworks and then what a knock that was from Devon Conway, holding the innings together.
What a call!
In the slot from Josh Hazlewood and Jimmy Neesham carves it over long-on for six!
What a finish. That is a great bit of momentum for New Zealand to take into the second innings.
Devon Conway finishes with a sublime 92 not out from 58 balls and Australia need 201 to win.

What price Neesham hitting the last ball out of the park to bring up the 200 for New Zealand?
Very good from Josh Hazlewood.
Devon Conway tries to ramp it over the keeper again but he gets in a tangle and it somehow ends up flying over third. They run very well for three.
Josh Hazlewood starts with a very good yorker first ball before the batters scamper two with some very good running from the second.
A nice start from the bowler.

Devon Conway has been classy all night. Every time the Aussie bowlers have missed their mark, he's hit them down the ground. That time it was the cover drive as Starc missed with the attempted yorker.
Conway 89, Neesham 15
Disappointment for Mitchell Starc. It was a very good over until the final ball, with Devon Conway finding the gap on the off-side with pinpoint precision to get four valuable runs.
One over to go. Can New Zealand get 200? And can Devon Conway get a century?

It was the slower ball from Starc that forced the false shot from Conway and it was good fielding out in the deep to prevent the boundary.
Oh, great bit of fielding.
Devon Conway hits one towards Marcus Stoinis at deep square leg, the ball drops just in front of him but he does well to palm it away and save the boundary.
A brave bit of work, one where you fear for your teeth if the ball bounces awkwardly.

New Zealand will be targeting 200. I don't think they'll be too disappointed with a smaller over here but they'll still be swinging hard.
Conway 81, Neesham 13
A very long over from Pat Cummins with two wides in there, and it goes for 15 - not what Australia would've wanted.
Neesham slogs the last ball high in the air with no timing but it plugs safely in the outfield and they scamper two runs.
Can they get to 200?
