In the end, it was comfortable, but there was a time when it was looking like a very close game.
England's batting and, more importantly, their death bowling was the difference.

That's a very good win for England. An entertaining game of cricket, the short boundary always making it interesting.
England move to second in the group and are now nicely placed. But they still have to deal with Sri Lanka. At least they will know what they have to do.
NZ 159-6
The real England have stood up.
World Cup campaign still in their own hands.
For the first time, they look like the potential winners they are.

Sam Curran has been the best bowler on show for England at this World Cup. He's definitely gone up a gear in the last few months.
Need 22 off 1
Now a bumper. No praise high enough for England's death bowling tonight.
Need 22 off 2
Yorker nailed. Curran at it again.

It's not touched anything. It's not worked though, the umpire is too canny. He signals wide.

Wide called.

A review of what, I'm not quite sure. The umpire was going to call that wide.
Need 25 off 3
I'm fairly certain England know this isn't out...

Need 25 off 4
Keep your foot behind the line, Sam.
Need 26 off 5
Dot ball!

Fine shot from Santner. He got plenty of that.
Target 180
Sorry, Chris. Santner hits the last ball of the over to long-on for six. Surely not enough. Woakes has been magnificent. 26 needed off the last.
Target 180
Chris Woakes has been superb. He hasn't conceded a boundary in the 11 balls since he came back on.
Target 180
Chris Jordan has been everywhere since he came on. That Livingstone injury was, erm, timely.
