This is turning into a real cracker of a knock from Daniel Bell-Drummond. He is just using the pace well and he isn't taking on the boundary riders.
This is really good from Daniel Bell-Drummond now! Two more boundaries - both through the off side. He has 38 now from 28 balls.

This game is nicely poised.
When you're looking at the last 25 balls you are thinking about two runs a ball minimum.
London Spirit will be looking for 150-160 to be really competitive.
Dropped! That's a tough chance for Rehan Ahmed running back as the ball drops over his shoulder. He can't quite cling on.
Looking again, it probably should have been taken.

Bell-Drummond is waking up now. It just shows on this pitch that when you're in, your scoring can race along.
Chris Jordan is back...
He'll keep things quiet... oh.
Daniel Bell-Drummond with back-to-back fours. This is good batting from the Spirit's number four.
30 balls remain. How many can London Spirit get to? The women's match, where the Brave set a new record chase in the women's competition, suggests they'll need plenty more.

It's got to be so intimidating standing at the start of your run up and seeing the giant of Kieron Pollard waiting for you.
Ahmed is a bundle of energy. He starred for England in the Under-19 World Cup earlier this year. He tosses the ball from hand to hand before bounding in. The leggie sprints away to field off his own bowling too.
A good five balls.

Bell-Drummond is just starting to get going now. That was a really encouraging strike.
Daniel Bell-Drummond has some making up to do after Eoin Morgan's run-out. This is just the start as he heaves the ball down the ground in the sunshine.
Rehan Ahmed is going to return at the other end.

That is a brilliant effort from Chris Jordan. I don't think anyone else on the field is even getting a hand on it.
Almost a speccy from Chris Jordan! He dives like Jordan Pickford through the air but can't cling on as the ball is smashed at him. It would have been an outrageous catch.

It's probably the best one Bell-Drummond has hit all day, ironically.

That is just a horrible, horrible way to get out.
Morgan run out Lintott 0 (Spirit 70-4)
Oh Eoin... The former England skipper falls in the most unfortunate fashion, run out at the non-striker's end. His batting partner Daniel Bell-Drummond times the ball nicely back towards the bowler but the ball flicks off Jake Lintott's hand onto the stumps. Morgan was preparing to run a single and was out of his ground.

I really didn't think it was that weird!
