Birmingham Phoenix captain Moeen Ali: "We probably would have ended up bowling but we weren't too fussed about losing the toss.

"We're doing all right. We lost the first game but I thought we played well in that one and the last game obviously we had a very good win over Southern Brave so we're happy.

"Will Smeed and Henry Brookes are two very young players, we saw Smeed do it last year as well. It takes the pressure off everybody and we have a lot of match-winners in this team.

"The tactics change a little bit when you're batting and bowling at this ground but it's a quick scoring ground with short boundaries straight."

Welsh Fire captain Josh Cobb: "We don't necessarily know what a good score is, we started well in our last game here. we just didn't close it out.

"We probably did 80% well last game and the bits we didn't do really hurt. It's the consistency we're after."
