Walter has gone for 13 and the crowd is silent. Unfortunately the Manchester Originals are fading away here.

  2. wicket

    WICKETpublished at 81 balls

    Walter c Clarke b Ball 13 (Originals 130-6)

Great catch! Jake Ball has his second.

The Originals are fading as Paul Walter flashes an edge which keeper Joe Clarke takes, diving full stretch to his left.

Tom Hartley is in, there's not much batting to come after him.

  3. Originals 130-5published at 80 balls

Adam Zampa races through his final five deliveries, conceding five runs from the set.

Zampa finishes with figures off 2-17 off 20 balls, taking the wickets of both Jos Buttler and Phil Salt. What a performance in, potentially, his last Hundred match of the summer.

Adam Zampa's bowling: 25% full, 65% good length and 10% short. 20 balls, 8 dots, went for 17 runs, took 2 wickets with an economy of 0.85 runs per ball.

Usually you could expect the team to double the runs from the number of balls remaining. So maybe Manchester Originals could have another 50 runs from 25 balls but because they have lost five wickets already it will be a bit more difficult.

  5. Originals 125-5published at 75 balls

And another four, but Critchley can't be blamed for this. Tristan Stubbs swings and misses, with keeper Joe Clarke unable to stop the ball.

It trickles agonisingly to the ropes.

  6. Originals 119-5published at 72 balls

I've just bigged him up but that was far from Critchley's best. He bowls one far too short which Paul Walter swipes for four.

Manchester Originals and Welsh Fire are both sitting at the bottom of the table. They have both played and lost three games so this is a big match.

  8. Originals 113-5published at 70 balls

Matthew Critchley will bowl his final five balls. He has been on the money so far today...

Matthew Critchley's bowling: 0% full, 100% good length and 0% short. 15 balls, 5 dots, went for 23 runs, took 1 wickets with an economy of 1.53 runs per ball.

Russell is livid with himself there. The bat spun in his hand and caught out at deep cover.

  10. Originals 109-5published at 67 balls

Forget about record scores now. How many more wickets before Manchester Originals start to seriously worry?

Russell has to go! Another dangerous player is heading back to the dug out.

  12. wicket

    WICKETpublished at 66 balls

    Russell c Hain b Pretorius 17 (Originals 108-5)

One shot too many. Andre Russell lobs the ball up and is easily caught on the boundary by Sam Hain.

Paul Walter is next in for the hosts.

  13. Originals 108-4published at 65 balls

35 balls to go. What will the Originals be targeting? 170 maybe? More?

  14. Originals 106-4published at 62 balls

    Russell 15, Stubbs 7

The boundaries keep on coming. This time Andre Russell cuts David Payne over point for four.

  15. Originals 100-4published at 60 balls

The final ball is blocked. A rare, rare dot.

Russell hit that ball like it owed him money!

That is the Russell shot we are talking about and that's the way to bring the score to a hundred.

  17. Originals 100-4published at 59 balls

The home fans are back on their feet. Tristan Stubbs reverse-sweeps for four, before Andre Russel brings up the 100 with a monster six over the leg side.

  18. Originals 88-4published at 55 balls

    Russel 4, Stubbs 1

Two new batters in - the Fire have the Originals exactly where they want them. This innings could go either way at this stage.

Matt Critchley will continue with another five.

Well those wickets will certainly slow the rate down...

And just like that the Manchester Originals have lost their fourth wicket! Originals got off to a great start but wickets are now slowing everything down.
