  1. Rockets 55-2published at 55 balls

Another good set from Eva Gray.

Still no boundaries. The pitch doesn't look the easiest to bat on. If Nat Sciver can't score boundaries on it then who can?!

  3. Rockets 51-2published at 50 balls

Sophia Smale finishes her spell with just 24 runs coming from her 20 balls, and the wicket of Bryony Smith.

Another fine performance from the 17-year-old.

For the Rockets batters, though, they've got to start going for it here. Halfway through and only 51 runs on the board.

  4. Rockets 47-2published at 45 balls

Rockets need some runs, and fast.

An excellent set of five balls from Eva Gray and they're mounting the pressure on the batting side now.

She's put in a good dive there. She's got her bat down, the dive has saved another run-out.

The dive saves her! But Oval Invincibles are applying excellent pressure here with this fielding.

A direct hit from Suzie Bates again! Has she run out Sciver this time? The batter has put in a full-stretch dive which may have just saved her.

There was a mix-up between the batters but it's a great piece of fielding.

Villani run out Bates 17 (Rockets 45-2)

    Gone! Great piece of work!

It was a risky run, but Suzie Bates had to put in a bit of a sliding stop and get the ball into the bowler Kapp, who does well to collect and take the bails off quick enough.

Villani goes for 17 from 15 balls, which isn't ideal for your opener.

  10. Umpire reviewpublished at 15:55 British Summer Time 17 August 2022

Oval Invincibles think they might have Elyse Villani run out.

Suzie Bates with the throw, she grimaces as if she's not entirely sure. This looks close.

Umpire Sue Redfern sends it upstairs.

I think when you've got boundaries of this size, you need to be that precise and Villani has done just that.

  12. Rockets 45-1published at 36 balls

Oh, lovely! Villani is just starting to find some rhythm, guiding one from Marizanne Kapp for an effortless four.

    Perfectly placed.

It's evenly poised. Oval Invincibles have bowled really well. The Rockets have captain Sciver in, and have only lost one wicket.

  14. Rockets 41-1published at 35 balls

Villani may be struggling a bit but Nat Sciver certainly isn't.

She takes a step down the pitch to the spinner Sophia Smale and launches it straight back over her head for another boundary.

She needed that boundary. Trent Rockets needed it, Villani needed it. It looks like she's a bit stuck out there.

  16. Rockets 33-1published at 30 balls

Bit of pressure building on the Rockets but Elyse Villani releases it with a thumping pull shot for four.

They need to get a bit of a move on. It's a bit flat out there at the moment.

A decent crowd in today. This was one of the highlights of last season, many replica kits dotted across the ground.

  19. Rockets 27-1published at 25 balls

Marizanne Kapp is called back to bowl one more, because it was a no-ball.

You don't want to bowl a free hit to Nat Sciver, but luckily for Kapp she does well and there's no score from it. That concludes the powerplay.

  20. Rockets 27-1published at 22 balls

Oh, that is class from Nat Sciver.

Marizanne Kapp just loses her line so slightly, and Sciver effortlessly clips it away for four more. She's in the mood!
