  1. WICKET

    A Jones c Chathli b Capsey 18 (Phoenix 37-2)

    Soft.

Amy Jones looks to drive away but a thick edge loops straight to the fielder.

She was struggling with her timing and with the class of Ellyse Perry now at the crease the wicket may not be the worse thing for the visitors.

  2. Post update

Here's how Sophia Smale picked up the wicket of Sophie Devine.

What a tournament the 18-year-old is having.

  3. Post update

    Melissa Story

    BBC Radio

The Oval Invincibles will kill you with spin. They've got a lot of spin to slow the game down.

  4. Phoenix 35-1

Have Birmingham Phoenix decided to up the ante a little bit? It feels like it.

Amy Jones looks to reverse sweep but doesn't connect properly at all, but she finds the boundary with a thick outside edge.

She connects better with a reverse sweep and picks up a couple of runs.

    They need to get motoring.

    Alex Hartley

Former England bowler on BBC Radio

That was a catching opportunity but a tough one. She'd nailed it.

  6. Phoenix 27-1

    Is that an opportunity? Maybe.

Eve Jones drills one back towards Sophia Smale and the 18-year-old does pretty well to get down low and stop the ball.

She drops a little short and Eve Jones is able to pick up a couple via a misfield.

She's got 1-14 from 15 balls so far though. She's doing an excellent job.

  7. Post update

    75 balls to go graphic
  8. Post update

    Alex Hartley

Former England bowler on BBC Radio

It's been a pretty poor powerplay for Birmingham Phoenix.

  9. Phoenix 23-1

    Amy Jones

    Brilliant fielding.

Amy Jones cuts away but Alice Capsey does really well to tumble down to her left and stop the ball with a full length dive.

Good comeback from Eva Gray, conceding just three singles after that first-ball boundary.

  10. Post update

    Alex Hartley

Former England bowler on BBC Radio

That's clever from Amy Jones as well. She goes deep in her crease and turns what would've been a yorker into a half-volley.

  11. Post update

    Henry Moeran

    BBC Radio

That's a glorious shot. Down the ground and a couple of bounces into the boundary.

  12. Phoenix 20-1

    Oh, shot.

Amy Jones goes deep in crease and that means Eva Gray's delivery is a bit floaty and the England keeper punches it back down the ground for her first boundary.

  13. Post update

    Henry Moeran

    BBC Radio

That's a good set of five deliveries from Ismail. Just the one run scored.

  14. Post update

    Alex Hartley

Former England bowler on BBC Radio

Looked quick that from Ismail. But it didn't really bounce.

  15. Phoenix 16-1

Shabnim Ismail is bowling with some serious wheels at the moment.

She twice beats Eve Jones and Lauren Winfield-Hill is unable to gather cleanly behind the stumps.

This has been a good start by Oval Invincibles at the moment. Dane van Niekerk looks to be marshalling them superbly.

  16. Post update

    Alex Hartley

Former England bowler on BBC Radio

I know Dane van Niekerk was not happy about being left out of the side in the past couple of games.

She kept sharing her player of the tournament picture from last year with the eyes emoji. It was on her private Facebook and now I've told the world.

  17. Phoenix 15-1

More good stuff from Sophia Smale, conceding just three runs from her second set of five.

Those 10 balls only cost her 10 runs and she picked up that crucial wicket.

  18. Phoenix 12-1

England wicketkeeper Amy Jones is the new batter.

She plays out a dot ball to start. Her wicket is going to be key for the Invincibles.

Smale will continue from the other end.

  19. Post update

    Henry Moeran

    BBC Radio

    Sophie Smale

What a moment for the youngster. She removes one of the best in the game.

  20. WICKET

    Devine c & b Smale 7 (Phoenix 12-1)

What a tournament Sophia Smale is having.

Sophie Devine looks to slog sweep away but doesn't connect cleanly and it goes straight up in the air. Smale has to run about 20 yards to her right but gets there, settles herself and takes a good catch.

Smale has now removed Alyssa Healy, Danni Wyatt, Tahlia McGrath, Bryony Smith and Sophie Devine in this year's tournament.

Alex Hartley is now tipping her to be the breakthrough star from this year's tournament after Alice Capsey last year.
