Lovely placement from Ecclestone! She's picked the gap beautifully.

  2. Originals 119-5published at 96 balls

    And that's why.

Down on one knee and Ecclestone thumps Emily Arlott down the ground for four valuable runs.

  3. Originals 114-5published at 94 balls

Ellie Threlked does well to scamper two runs but ideally, Originals need Ecclestone to face the vast majority of these balls.

    England opener on BBC Radio

She's just shown her six-hitting ability there. Great swing through the ball.

    Originals 111-5published at 91 balls

    Yes, here we go!

Ecclestone clubs it straight into the Hollies stand.

    More, please.

  7. dropped catch

Ecclestone dropped on 7published at 90 balls

    Originals 105-5

Oh! Sophie Ecclestone tries to go big, but hits it firmly up to Phoebe Franklin who drops a difficult chance diving forward. Would have been a great catch.

10 balls to go now. Can Ecclestone do some damage here? They've not got enough runs at the moment.

She's got plenty on it. That's a massive inside edge, which is probably why she has reviewed it immediately.

  9. Not outpublished at 86 balls

    Originals 103-5

Yep, inside edge onto the pad and Threlkeld survives. Good review.

  10. Originals reviewpublished at 86 balls

Ellie Threlkeld is given out lbw but sends it upstairs for a second look. I wonder if she got some bat on it?

If not, I think this is out.

  11. Originals 103-5published at 85 balls

Just 15 balls left and two new batters at the crease in Ecclestone and Ellie Threlkeld.

What can they get the score up to?

You got the impression the pair were looking for a boundary. Burns took the aerial route but never had enough to go over long on.

    Big blow for the Originals.

Erin Burns tries to clear the boundary down the ground but picks out Phoebe Franklin who takes a comfortable catch. Phoenix's celebrations tell you just how big that wicket is for them.

  14. Originals 100-4published at 80 balls

It may only be Erin Burns' first game in the Hundred this year but she looks like she's been there forever.

Another four clipped off her legs to bring up the Originals' 100 and she's playing in a league of her own here.

  16. Originals 94-4published at 75 balls

Phoenix are squeezing nicely here as the boundaries are becoming hard to come by.

Sophie Ecclestone is the new batter, who can certainly whack it, and she's going to have to get going pretty quickly if Originals are going to post something competitive.

The momentum swings back once more. Manchester Originals are in for a big total here.

  18. Originals 91-4published at 70 balls

Erin Burns has got a big role to play now after two quick wickets have fallen again.

And she responds with a thumping drive for four as if there's no pressure at all. Classy.

This is how Ami Campbell was run out last week.

Today's is not that different at all.

Campbell run out Molineux 0 (Originals 86-4)

    This is bad.

Ami Campbell sets off for a single that was never there, because she literally plonked the ball back to the bowler. But she was panicking a bit, because she'd faced five balls without scoring.

Erin Burns rightly sent her back, which should've been easy, but Campbell drifts back to her crease so slowly and is short of her ground, making it way too easy for Phoenix.
