  1. Rockets 26-1published at 70 balls left

One run and one wicket off that set of five from Lauren Filer.

Are Trent Rockets flapping a little bit here?

  2. wicket

    Smith c Sutherland b Filer 8 (Rockets 25-1)

Welsh Fire make amends as Bryony Smith chips it high into the air off Lauren Filer. Annabel Sutherland, stationed at mid-on, gobbles up the catch with ease.

This is where I think Trent Rockets have to make the most of it. Once you're in on this wicket, you need to kick on. If these two have to chase the runs down quickly, they'll have to take score responsibly.

  5. dropped catch

Smith dropped on eightpublished at 77 balls left

Welsh Fire must take their chances if they are to defend this.

Bryony Smith clatters Annabel Sutherland to mid-wicket but Tammy Beaumont spills it. Will that prove costly?

  6. 6 runs

Rockets 24-0published at 79 balls left

Annabel Sutherland into the attack and she drops it short to Elyse Villani first ball, who promptly pulls her for six!

I've enjoyed watching Lauren Filer. She's quick, she's a good athlete. I have not seen much of her, but I have been very impressed with what she has shown. She used to be a football player in her young days from what I know.

  8. Rockets 18-0published at 80 balls left

Lauren Filer offers little to Elyse Villani and Bryony Smith, who are both happy to knock it into the gaps as they pick up three singles and a leg bye off that set.

In case you missed it, Bryony Smith took a screamer earlier...

  10. Rockets 14-0published at 85 balls left

Tammy Beaumont fancies a bit of pace on the ball, as Lauren Filer comes into the attack. Solid start from the Rockets so far.

Great footwork by Elyse Villani, just shuffling down the track and opening up the blade because the offside field was up. Really good shot selection.

  12. Rockets 13-0published at 87 balls left

More spin. This time it's Claire Nicholas for Welsh Fire.

Elyse Villani and Bryony Smith start with a single apiece before the former skips down the pitch and thrashes the ball to the boundary for four.

This is the last time we are going to see Welsh Fire this summer. It's not been a good tournament for both their teams. A lot of rebuilding to do.

  14. Rockets 5-0published at 93 balls left

A tad short from Alex Hartley and Bryony Smith swivels on her heels and helps the ball on its way to the boundary.

Trent Rockets are up and running.

  15. Rockets 1-0published at 95 balls left

Great start by Alex Hartley, just one run from it for Elyse Villani.

Hartley will bowl the next five as well. Pace off seems the key with the ball here.

If they can chase these runs down quickly and boost their run rate, the Trent Rockets will be in a good place. I think that can also be a tricky game plan because we can see how this wicket is behaving.

  17. Rockets 0-0published at 98 balls left

Left-arm spinner Alex Hartley, wearing shades, begins with a dot for Welsh Fire.

Next ball Elyse Villani slaps it back down the ground, but the diving Hartley is not quite able to get her hands to take a catch.

Welsh Fire's fielders are in the customary huddle on the edge of the boundary as Trent Rockets batters Elyse Villani and Bryony Smith jog to the middle.

    Thanks, Tom.

Net run rate is key for Trent Rockets here as we head into the final week with those two Eliminator spots up for grabs.

The stattos have calculated that if the Rockets can chase down 101 in 90 balls or fewer they will leapfrog Birmingham Phoenix into third place on net run rate, albeit having played a game more.

Don't forget Tammy Beaumont hit four boundaries from the first four balls, but it was slow going from then on. Just 84 more runs were added from the remaining 96 balls as Welsh Fire crawled up to 100-8.

Fairly straight forward you would think for Trent Rockets, who need a big win to leapfrog Birmingham Phoenix.

Will they do it? Here's Timothy Abraham to guide you through the Rockets reply.
