That's us done for today and the series. England, put simply, smashed the white-ball matches against South Africa.

Here's Tom Mallow's report from the final T20. , external

Next stop for Heather Knight's side: The Commonwealth Games. The women's T20 competition begins on Friday, with England facing Sri Lanka on Saturday.

We also have the men's T20 series against South Africa which begins on Wednesday. Live text and radio coverage will begin from around 18:00 BST.

    Until then, goodbye.

England bowler Katherine Brunt: "Alice Capsey was 10 days fresh to the world and Freya Kemp wasn't even born when I made my debut! The youngsters keep things fresh.

"As weird as it sounds, the personal milestones are nice to get out the way. I did the other day with the T20 wickets record. I didn't think it was possible as Anya [Shrubsole] did it in a lot fewer games.

"Now it's on to the Commonwealths. Last time I had a gold medal was the World Cup in 2017. A medal tournament sounds really cool. I never thought I'd be around for the Commonwealth Games, so it's exciting."

In truth, South Africa were never really in the chase. But opener Tamzin Brits gave it her all.

    England debutant Freya Kemp:

On receiving her cap from former captain Charlotte Edwards: "She said to keep being myself, keep being competitive and carry on being me."

On the back-of-the-hand slower ball for her second wicket: "I was injured one year and I just started doing it as I couldn't do much else. I was playing around and it kind of stuck. It was about four years ago, maybe. I kept working on it. It comes really naturally."

On still being in education: "I did some exams this year. My AS Levels. I've got some next year as well. I'll try and keep up. Do as much as I can."

Alice Capsey was brilliant. Sometimes you see a player hit one or two boundaries and get nervous. But she didn't. She played with freedom and it was great to watch!

There was also the tale of the two 17-year-olds.

First there was this outstanding hitting from Alice Capsey...

And then Freya Kemp enjoyed her first success in international cricket...

When Lisa Keightley came in as coach a few years ago she said she wanted England's lower order to step up and contribute with the bat, and they are doing that now with players like Sophie Ecclestone.

Player of the series Sophie Ecclestone: "I think when I come into bat I have one job - hit sixes! It came off tonight. I was glad to get some runs. I want Katherine Brunt's spot at No.7 when she retires so that's the aim long term.

"We have a couple of 17-year-old's and it's great to have some youth in the squad. That was me six years ago! I love playing for my country.

"We are so excited for the Commonwealth Games. We have such a good squad now. There's a real buzz about the squad. Competing for a gold medal at home, it doesn't get much bigger than that. We have never played in it before. We don't know what to expect with the village and all that. We'll just embrace it."

Sophie Ecclestone is a proven superstar with the ball, but today she also showed us her capabilities as a big hitting lower-order batter.

This was just was pure entertainment...

Sophie Ecclestone's innings took the game away from South Africa with the bat. If you discount her innings, and that brutal last over, it might have been much closer as a contest. It's been a tough series for South Africa and they will have to pick themselves up quickly for the Commonwealth Games.

A wonderful way to wrap up the night and wrap up a series in which England have been utterly dominant. They have romped through the ODIs and T20s heading into the Commonwealth Games.

    Tryon b Ecclestone 14 (SA 138-6)

And that's how you wrap up the victory! Sophie Ecclestone bowls Chloe Tryon, the off stump pegged back.

England win the final T20 by 38 runs. South Africa's white-ball tour ends with not a single win.

With the Commonwealth Games just days away, it's another clinical performance from the home team.

That's a beautiful shot from Chloe Tryon, a lovely sound off the bat.

  15. SA 129-5published at 19 overs

Issy Wong bowls the penultimate over of the day. Having just deceived Tryon with a decent slower ball, Wong sends down a wayward line which goes down to the fine-leg boundary for four wides.

Tryon backs to the leg side, Wong follows and the South Africa batter adjusts her body nicely to whip it down to the square-leg boundary. Four more.

Wong finishes with figures of 1-40 from four overs.

Delmi Tucker joins her captain in the middle. She's off the mark with a boundary after some sloppy England work in the field.

Debutant Kemp has 2-18 from her three overs so far.

Here's some pointless information... South Africa need 61 from 12 balls.

You can't keep Sophie Ecclestone out the game! Batting, bowling and now with a catch in the deep. Tamzin Brits faced 21 dot balls there. She needed to keep rotating the strike, and didn't really do that.

A second international wicket for Freya Kemp brings Tazmin Brits' fine knock to an end.
