Ayesha Naseem is certainly bringing this game to life! The groups of children in the crowd were very grateful for an opportunity to wave their 'Six' signs.

And she's yet another terrifyingly young player, she's only 18 - there are some pretty impressive teenagers in this tournament.

  2. Pak 109-4published at 16 overs

Renuka Thakur changes line and attempts the wide yorker, but keeps traying too far - there's three wides in this over.

Ayesha Naseem's aggression has really knocked India of their stride. She has raced onto 29 from just 15 balls. The partnership is now worth 41.

Brilliant batting, Ayesha is opening her shoulders and going perfectly down the middle.

And now Ayesha Naseem has smacked Renuka Thakur down the ground for four!

Harmanpreet Kaur has some thinking to do here, she gathers some of her team-mates around for a chat.

That is great athleticism from Ayesha!

    Here we go!

Stand and deliver from Ayesha Naseem as she takes a stride forward and dismissively clubs Renuka Thakur back over head for six.

What I'm really enjoying with Ayesha's batting is the inventiveness.

  9. Pak 91-4published at 15 overs

    Bismah 41, Ayesha 16

Ayesha Naseem thinks she has a boundary as she smacks the ball over long-on again but Yastika Bhatia makes a brilliant one-handed diving stop near the rope to save India two runs.

Eight off the over though - all of them run.

That turned into a profitable over for Pakistan - their best since the powerplay. The early aggression from Ayesha Naseem is just what they needed.

Pitched over length by Vastrakar but Ayseha has hit that beautifully!

  12. Pak 78-4published at 13.1 overs

That's more like it! What a shot that is!

Ayesha Naseem has absolutely creamed Pooja Vastrakar over mid-off for a one-bounce four.

You could hear the 'thwack' as it came right off the middle of the bat. Brilliant timing.

  13. Pak 74-4published at 13 overs

Ayesha Naseem joins Bismah Maroof, who is 37 from 35 deliveries, out in the middle.

Pakistan have not let the loss of wickets knock them off their stride. They have run really well but have struggled to hit boundaries, which may prove costly in the final shake-up.

The run map shows Bismah Maroof scored 37 with 4 fours, 3 twos, and 15 singles for Pakistan Women

It's a little bit unlucky that isn't it. The only time I've ever seen anything more perculiar was Nat Sciver-Brunt got caught against South Africa doing the same thing but against a seamer which went straight to the wicketkeeper.

I don't think I've ever seen something like that, it's a triple hit and gone nowhere.

  16. wicket

    WICKETpublished at 12.1 overs

    Amin c Ghosh b Radha 11 (Pak 68-4)

    An extraordinary dismissal!

Sidra Amin has gone for the pre-mediated reverse-sweep but can only glove the ball into the air before it clips the back of her swinging bat and loops up into the air for wicketkeeper Richa Ghosh to take a simple catch.

  17. Pak 68-3published at 12 overs

    A boundary!

Rajeshwari Gyakwad bowls over the wicket to fellow left-armer Bismah Maroof but strays too far down leg and Bismah sweeps around the corner for four.

We have a left-hand right-hand combination so between runs the field has to change.

Pakistan have had a pretty decent start.

Unfortunately they lost two quick wickets, especially with Dar she is an explosive batter for Pakistan but a great review from Kaur.

  20. Pak 61-3published at 11 overs

No - but it only concedes three runs.

Bismah Maroof and Sidra Amin did really well to pinch two off the final ball of the over, their running between the wickets has been excellent.
