  2. 'People stand up'published at 15:59 Greenwich Mean Time 16 February 2023

Australia captain Meg Lanning: "Certainly a great game today. Our bowlers set the win up. Grace Harris came in, she's not bowled much, and to be able to do that role was excellent. Certainly a great game.

"I think people stand up at different times. As I say with Grace she comes in and plays a very specific role. Just the ability to call on different people and they come up in different moments.

"It's good conditions here and we've enjoyed it so far. We adapt as we go.

"We're looking forward to [the next match]. Our games against South Africa are always well-contested.

"It's great to have so many people here watching us. Hopefully we're able to inspire them to go out there and chase their dreams."

Sri Lanka's captain Chamari Athapaththu: "We tried our best in the powerplay. After 15 overs we weren't batting well and we weren't executing our plans and that's why we lost.

"Mooney and Healy batted really well. We have to take wickets early otherwise we can't restrict Australia for runs.

"We want to play positive cricket in the next game. We play our natural game positively."

Player of the match Alyssa Healy, who made 54 off 43: "It was tough going at times but nice to get the win and the points and play a good game as a group.

"I just think we complement each other quite nicely. We play so differently and the left and right combination works so well. We trust each other out there and it's good to get the job done.

"The wicket played pretty well. It stayed low and took some turn for our spinners which is awesome.

"The pitches have played true as well and helped us for some tricky chases.

"The way our spin attack works together as a unit, I thought they were outstanding again today."
