It is so, so strange what South Africa are doing.

Fahima continues. We have another half stumping shout but Brits is well in her crease again.

    This is so nervy.

They should. They just seem happy to tick over at the moment. I suppose all they have to do is win, but you've got to put yourself in a position to get over the line.

South Africa are in control but they are batting themselves into some sort of pickle. They should surely be 50-60 by now.

  5. SA 40-0published at 9 overs

    Brits 15, Wolvaardt 24

Tazmin Brits has scored 15 off 25. South Africa are batting themselves into a corner. They've struck just two boundaries in nine overs.

That was just not great cricket all-round. Maybe apart from the bowler because she did push it wider.

Whether it is good Brits survived, I am not sure for South Africa.

    She's in with a dive.

But she would have been out if the keeper hit the stumps straight away. She missed with her first action! A huge let off.

    Has Brits been stumped?

  11. SA 36-0published at 8.1 overs

Bangladesh appeal but they don't bother reviewing. Nahida found Brits' pad but I think it was going wide.

We've only had two boundaries in 48 deliveries by the way.

  13. SA 35-0published at 8 overs

    Four off Fahima's first over.

South Africa need 79 off 72 but have 10 wickets in hand. On paper, South Africa should stroll to this chase. But you never know.

Here it is. This is the moment where the switch was well and truly flicked...

Another over ticks by. South Africa are starting to find the gaps and rotate the strike now.

Fahima comes into the attack for Bangladesh.

  16. SA 28-0published at 6.2 overs

Shorna Akter, 16, is into the attack. She's flicked away for two by Laura Wolvaardt.

  17. SA 26-0published at 6 overs

A much better over, eight runs from it. South Africa have rescued what was a dangerously poor start to the powerplay.

Still, a long way to go you feel.

  18. SA 25-0published at 5.3 overs

    Target 114

Three more runs for South Africa before Wolvaardt gets another boundary with a four through the covers.

The momentum is properly shifting now.

Right then, will South Africa push on after that boundary? Jahanara continues.
