  1. Ban 68-3published at 14 overs

That's a good shot from Nigar Sultana as she powers a half-volley through the off side for four.

We have not seen enough of that from Bangladesh this evening. They are not even going to reach 100 at their current run rate.

  2. Ban 60-3published at 13 overs

16-year-old Shorna Akter is the new batter as she pushes five singles together with Nigar Sultana.

The ones and twos have been fine for Bangladesh. Boundaries have been the issue.

When you try to catch up, and you try and fail, you leave your team in a whole world of trouble.

She got no support from the other end and the pressure was on her to hit out. She just picked the wrong ball.

    Mostary b Mlaba 27 (55-3)

    Oh.

Sobhana Mostary goes for a rather ugly heave and is bowled by Nonkululeko Mlaba.

Not the best shot and perhaps why she did not play too many aggressive shots.

Where's that been, where have you been hiding that Joty?

The two overs after drinks have gone for six and eight. There's been a step up in intensity.

  6. Ban 55-2published at 12 overs

A boundary! A real life boundary!

It is a fine shot too from Nigar Sultana as she charges Chloe Tryon and nails a drive over long-off for four.

    That's more like it.

Dropped, it had to be taken but it was put down in the deep.

She would have felt that was meat and drink.

  8. dropped catch

Sobhana Mostary dropped on 25published at 11.2 overs

That should have been taken! Sobhana Mostary heaves the ball straight to Tazmin Brits, at deep mid-wicket but she spills the catch diving forward.

This is Bangladesh's last game in this World Cup. Go out with a bang, show us what you can do. Go out there and upset South Africa.

  10. Ban 47-2published at 11 overs

In mitigation, if you have not got the power shots in your locker you are probably better off pushing the ones on twos.

Five singles and a leg by from Marizanne Kapp's latest over, including a nice inventive late cut from Sobhana Mostary.

Halfway through, it's not a great score. It's great for South Africa.

I don't understand Bangladesh's plan. They're not being aggressive, there's no intent out there.

  13. Ban 41-2published at 10 overs

A nice cut from Sobhana Mostary with the final ball of Chloe Tryon's disappears fine but it is fielded by Marizanne Kapp and Bangladesh can only run two.

They have crawled up to 41-2 at the halfway stage. It's clearly not going to be enough. Isn't it worth swinging the bat a bit? Take a few more risks?

Marizanne Kapp gets there but ends up tripping up Nadine de Klerk on the boundary!

  15. Ban 38-2published at 9.1 overs

One for the blooper reel as Marizanne Kapp claws the ball back on the boundary and Nadine de Klerk trips over her flailing leg as she looks to collect, allowing Bangladesh to run three.

    Smiles all round.

  16. Ban 35-2published at 9 overs

A boundary! There is a touch of fortune about it but Bangadesh won't care.

It is a thick edge from Sobhana Mostary that should be cut off at deep third by Ayabonga Khaka but she makes a hash of it and the ball trundles over the rope.

    They all count.

That's that one thing they're lacking are Bangladesh. Nobody is playing those power shots.

  18. Ban 28-2published at 8 overs

Time for some more spin as Nonkululeko Mlaba returns.

It feels a bit like the early stages of an ODI as Bangladesh nudge and nurdle the singles.

They are playing with the handbrake on.

We've not seen any big shots. When they've tried, they've got out.

  20. Ban 24-2published at 7 overs

That's a good comeback from Ayabonga Khaka, who went for nine in her first over.

She is finding a bit of swing to trouble the Bangladesh batters, who manage to scramble a single off the penultimate ball.

They are being made to work hard for every run at the moment.
