    I think in semi-finals the rule is you want to get runs on the board and defend what you can.

    The three losses India had in their warm-up series to Australia, all three of them they failed to chase.

    "We have discussed throughout the tournament that we need to bat well and that is why we've added another batter today.

    "We have to do really well in all three departments. If you want to win any game you have to be on top in all three departments and that is what we've discussed and want to do today."

    India qualified for the semi-finals after beating Ireland by five runs by the DLS method. Heavy rain forced the game to end early. They have won three of their four games.

    Australia progressed to the semi-finals after a with six-wicket win over South Africa, and have won all of their games in the tournament so far.
