Ollie Robinson didn't quite get that where we wanted to. He was looking to clear the ropes, but it was a bit of in between shot and went straight down the throat of long on.

Robinson c Green b Lyon 27 (256-9)
It was fun while it lasted.
Ollie Robinson knew it straight away as he chipped the ball straight to Cameron Green at long-on.

I’ve just had a message from a mate who works behind the scenes in the Houses of Parliament. His office has received a noise complaint for shouting at the cricket on the TV…

Fenners: Those extra 50 runs we would've got in the 1st innings had we batted on are now looking even more priceless...
The number of runs that declaration cost England is going up every time it's mentioned!
"Joe Root would still be batting if we hadn't declared!"
Robinson 25, Broad 5
Australia's target in 2005 by the way was 282.
A single off Scott Boland's latest over nudges England's lead here to 261.
Josh, you have just been Bazballed.

Throughout England's innings whenever they have looked like getting away from the Aussies they have just got a wicket, a crucial breakthrough, and kept the home side in check.

Ed The Eagle: This is shaping up to be exactly like Edgbaston 2005. Who is doing to be the Flintoff at the end here!?
Jonny Green: If England are still in at tea, I'm almost certain Stokes will declare. Think we have enough to already make the Aussies twitchy.
Ben: She hangs right in the balance still. What a great Test match.
Josh Hazlewood's brief but vicious spell is over.
Scott Boland returns with 15 minutes to go until tea.
"Alexa, play some chin music."

There is a wonderful atmosphere at Edgbaston. We are bubbling up to a wonderful finish here.
Travis Head endears himself to the Hollies crowd, who have given him grief for days, by throwing one of their giant inflatable beachballs back into the stand.
Don't think the stewards will be happy with that.

That was beautifully played by Ollie Robinson, gliding it away for four. Smart batting just using the pace of the ball.
Ha, that is delicious. Ollie Robinson has just played a beautiful delicate dab through third man for four.
It takes a brillaint stop by Nathan Lyon on the point boundary next ball to stop another one.
Lyon goes down on his haunches afterwards and is holding his shoulder as he comes back to bowl.
Something to keep an eye on.

Australia haven't made this many to win an Ashes Test since 1948.
Josh Hazlewood has been brilliant since coming back into the attack, though this was a pretty routine dismissal.

Australia's target is 250 at a minimum. The Great Escape is sung around Edgbaston.
You gotta love Marais Erasmus. He almost dismissively turns down a Nathan Lyon lbw appeal.
He never looks flustered even with all this drama around him.
England add a couple of singles to the score. This is turning into a very useful partnership.
