    We've had quite a lot of rain this week, but late drama at Chelmsford and Lord's meant it was another good one in the County Championship.

    With one round to go, it looks like the title is Surrey's to lose, while Worcestershire are poised to claim the second promotion spot.

    The real tension next week will be at Canterbury and Nottingham as Kent take on Lancashire and Middlesex face Notts - with one of them set for the drop.

    Surrey have 213 points from 13 games after batting out a draw against Northamptonshire, having been made to follow on.

    They are clear favourites to seal back to back titles next week after Essex's dramatic home defeat by Hampshire left them 20 points adrift.

    At the bottom, Kent will begin their final game one point ahead of Middlesex in the battle to avoid joining Northants in Division Tow next summer.

    Ben Brown thumps Simon Harmer over mid-wicket, they come back for two and that's the game.

    A fabulous run-chase by Hampshire who get home with five balls to spare after being 32-4 earlier in their innings.

    Liam Dawson (119) and James Vince (89) turned the game on its head with a stand of 184 before being dismissed with the finishing line in sight.

    It's Hampshire seventh win of the season and means Essex will start their final game 20 points behind leaders Surrey.

    The final ball turns a mile and strikes Rob Yates but he is able to scramble another leg bye and beats the throw to the bowler's end.
