  1. Post update

    Notts 201-7 (target 207) v Middlesex

They'll be starting to breathe a little easier in Kent now, you'd think.

Matthew Montgomery paddles a single off Jayant Yadav, who then has a vociferous lbw shout against Brett Hutton turned down.

Hutton finishes the over by slamming Yadav over the fence for six - and one more like that will do it for Nottinghamshire.

  2. Post update

    Yorks 347-4 - target 360 (4 overs left)

Four more runs to George Hill, swinging Dillon Pennington from outside off stump down to wide long on for four.

    He's got 36 from 29.

The second delivery barely lands on the cut strip and it's a no ball.

The next delivery is nudged down to third man for one.

Tattersall drives but cannot clear the off side field, but he connects with the fifth ball, shorter and pulled to long leg for two.

He'll keep the strike with a short arm jab to long on for one.

  3. Post update

    Kevin Hand

    BBC Radio London commentator

"The tension has come out out of it. Desperation time for Middlesex, they are right on the ropes at this point."

  4. Post update

    Notts 194-7 (target 207) v Middlesex

Sam Robson tosses one up to Brett Hutton, who strikes it high but short of the fielder at deep midwicket and it's just a single.

Matthew Montgomery collects a single from the final ball of the over and now Nottinghamshire need just 13 for victory.

  5. Post update

    Yorks 337-4 - target 360 (5 overs left)

George Hill is really in top gear here, clubbing Josh Baker through the leg side for the 50 partnership with Jonny Tattersall in just 47 balls.

Tattersall ends the over with a deft cut through cover point for four.

Lovely shot, played right under his nose and from the crease.

  6. Post update

    Notts 190-7 (target 207) v Middlesex

Brett Hutton moves into double figures as he steers Jayant Yadav to long on for a single and the target is down to 16.

Yadav is trying everything, switching to around the wicket for the final ball of that last over.

We've got a minimum of nine remaining.

  7. WICKET Douthwaite lbw Conners 13

    Glamorgan 301-5 dec & 118-6 v Derbyshire 450-8 dec & 234-2 dec

An extraordinary field at Sophia Gardens.

Four in short on the off side and three on the leg.

Dan Douthwaite tries to pull one which keeps a little low but makes no contact and the umpire upholds the appeal.

    Glamorgan v Derbyshire
  8. Post update

    Yorks 328-4 - target 360 (6 overs left)

If Yorkshire manage this, it will be their fourth highest successful run chase in the club's history.

Tattersall misses an attempted scoop, but just about connects with the second Ben Gibbon ball, swinging and squirting it out into the off side for one.

Single to George Hill, and Gibbon tightens his line, forcing Tattersall to defend.

An attempted drive is somewhat "clothed" and there's no run.

Just two runs off the over.

  9. Post update

    Notts 188-7 (target 207) v Middlesex

The runs keep coming, with Matthew Montgomery and Brett Hutton's partnership now rising to 31.

Nottinghamshire needed 50 when they came together, it's now down to 19 and you feel this is starting to tilt back in the home side's favour.

  10. Post update

    Yorks 326-4 - target 360 (7 overs left)

Tattersall sweeps Josh Baker to mid wicket and we're down to 41 needed.

George Hill is striding forward again to the spin and drives straight for one.

Tattersall plays across the line but it's not out. too leg side.

The fourth ball is chipped away to the Howard Stand for three.

George Hill flat bats the fifth ball down the ground for one and Tattersall will have the strike, sweeping square for one more.

  11. Post update

    Notts 184-7 (target 207) v Middlesex

    Matthew Montgomery

Hearts in mouths as Matthew Montgomery goes to sweep Jayant Yadav and the ball almost rolls back onto the stumps.

Yadav is still getting the ball to turn, but he also sends down a full toss that Montgomery pumps for four, aided by a misfield at cover.

That takes him to 25 not out and Nottinghamshire need him to stay there if they're going to scramble over the line.

  12. Post update

    Yorks 319-4 - target 360 (8 overs left)

Ben Gibbon bowls wide of off and George Hill runs it down to third man for one.

Very much Yorkshire's game to lose from here after an electric start to Hill's innings, much needed after the dismissals of Masood and Wharton.

Jonny Tattersall takes on the short ball and pulls square for four!

Would you believe we've had more than 500 runs scored today?

How often has that happened here in September?

Tattersall will keep the strike with a back foot push square on the off side.

  13. Post update

    Dave Bracegirdle

    BBC Radio Nottingham commentator

"This is where I usually say 'what price the tie?'"

  14. Post update

    Notts 180-7 (target 207) v Middlesex

    Jayant Yadav

Sam Robson and Jayant Yadav, you'd think, are going to continue until the end here.

But Middlesex need another breakthrough quickly, because another three singles from this Robson over brings the Nottinghamshire target down to 27.

  15. Post update

    Yorks 313-4 - target 360 (9 overs left)

George Hill is down the pitch again to Josh Baker, driving the spinner through long off for four.

He gets one more with another drive into cover.

One more run comes off the back foot, pushed into cover.

    47 needed.

  16. Post update

    Notts 177-7 (target 207) v Middlesex

Brett Hutton steps onto the back foot and guides Jayant Yadav into the covers for a single that brings Matthew Montgomery back on strike.

Montgomery is fishing outside off stump at Yadav before unveiling a neatly executed reverse sweep that brings him another single and reduces the target to just 30.

  17. Post update

    Yorks 306-4 - target 360 (10 overs left)

Shot! George Hill is in his crease, leaning into an immaculate drive to Ben Gibbon, lofting the bowler over his head for four.

That brings up Yorkshire's 300 in the 60th over.

A single driven down the ground and seven runs come from the over in total.

Yorkshire are back with the required rate, putting the pressure back on the Pears after the loss of James Wharton and Shan Masood in successive overs.

  18. Post update

    Notts 174-7 (target 207) v Middlesex

A single apiece for Matthew Montgomery and Brett Hutton reduces the target to 33 after this Sam Robson over.

We've got 13 more remaining, so it's still hard to imagine this finishing in a draw.

But all four results still possible!

  19. Post update

    Notts 172-7 (target 207) v Middlesex

Only two close fielders in for Middlesex at the moment as Jayant Yadav tries to tempt Matt Montgomery, but he's not biting right now.

Yadav is unlucky as he gets one to turn away from the Notts batter but the ball races away for four byes - valuable runs as the target comes down to 35.

  20. Post update

    Yorks 279-4 - target 360

Tattersall is forward to Josh Baker and is off the mark with a flick to square leg for four.

There's not much time for these two batters to play themselves in with less than 15 overs left and near enough a run a ball required.

Ben Gibbon gets away with a leg side ball to Tattersall for no run to end the over.

George Hill advances to Josh Baker and lifts the spinner over extra cover for four.

    11 overs left.
