England have to throw a little bit of caution to the wind tonight because they have to win or the Ashes are gone. The aggression isn't too much of a surprise.

This is a good start for England now. They have given up some opportunities but they are scoring at a good rate.
More pain for Australia as Megan Schutt sends her following delivery down leg - it races away to the boundary for five wides.
Wyatt crashes the next ball behind backward point for four more.
The England openers run a couple more singles and that's 13 off the over.

That is a really poor drop. It should have been taken.
That is a really rare drop from Australia in the field. You would expect any top team, and any player in that team, to take that catch.

There's such shock at Australia dropping a catch that The Oval has just gone completely silent rather than cheering.
Should be out.
Dunkley sends the ball into the air once more - should be an easy catch for McGrath at cover but she misjudges and it hits the deck. That was a pretty easy chance.

England have been really intent on those drop and runs tonight.
Australia have got quite a flat field, right on the 30-yard circle, whereas England were trying harder to stop the singles in the first game.
Chance of a run-out!
Dunkley drives to Grace Harris at mid-on and tries to set off a single. She's sent back by Wyatt and has to scramble home, safe from the throw.

Darcie Brown is bowling with great pace and bounce but I wonder if she's just struggling with her control slightly and that is why she is going to the cross-seam deliveries.
Wyatt gets on top of Brown's delivery and punches it majestically through the covers for four.
She takes a half-hearted waft at the seamer's final delivery, but withdraws her bat soon enough to ensure there's no chance of an edge.
Massive skier!
Dunkley continues to try and force the run rate and she sends Brown's ball spiralling into the air.
You could finish a short novella in the time it takes to drop, but somehow there's no-one to take the ball as it drops half-way to the fine leg boundary. England run two.

Australia will want to win the Ashes outright. It is never nice to just retain it and draw the series.
Megan Schutt opens up for Australia at the other end. Wyatt picks up a single before Schutt drags one down for a wide.
She follows up with a neat cutter that Dunkley advances down the track for - she's trying to heave it over the mid-wicket boundary but only picks out the fielder.

England's intent has been pretty clear. They went really hard at Darcie Brown, who is Australia's fastest bowler.
Rather more controlled from Dunkley.
She sends the ball to roughly the same area of The Oval boundary, but it's a clever bit of movement to loft the ball back over the keeper's head.

That was a wild swipe.
Dunkley gets England off the mark with a big heave at a bouncer - it hits an edge and hoops over the slips for four.
Darcie Brown raps Dunkley on her pad from her first ball. It looks like it's sliding down.
There's a half-hearted appeal from the Australian side but it's definitely sliding down and Brown retreats to her mark before the appeal timer runs out.
Darcie Brown will get us under way with Sophia Dunkley facing first in the sunshine at The Oval.
