  1. wicket

WICKET Santner c Turner b Sowter 42published at 19:32 British Summer Time 30 June 2023

    Worcs 74-3 (6.3 overs) v Durham 216-4

Mitchell Santner just hit Brandon Glover for four boundaries off an over.

But when he tries to go after Durham's leading Blast wicket-taker Nathan Sowter, the New Zealander falls foul, lofting up a comfortable catch for Ashton Turner.

Great knock of 42 off 20 balls from Santner though - that's helped the Pears amass well more than the required rate so far. Keeping their wickets is key now, mind.

  2. wicket

Notts Outlaws 123-5 v Birmingham Bears (15.2 overs)

Steven Mullaney never got going and his swipe to the boundary is safely pouched by Ed Barnard.

Powerplay done at the Ageas Bowl and Hampshire have put up 62-1 against Glamorgan.

Ben McDermott has 31 from 17 for the hosts, but James Vince departed for 16.

Essex have not quite been as fluent, they're 47-3 in the sixth playing Middlesex. Dan Lawrence is the latest Essex batter to go for five.

Somerset remain on course for a big total against Surrey at Taunton, they're on 130-4 in the 14th with Tom Banton 58 from 33.

Ravi Bopara has also passed 50 for Sussex - he's now 53 from 30 with his side 139-4 after 13 overs.

Moores droppedpublished at 19:24 British Summer Time 30 June 2023

Notts Outlaws 112-4 v Birmingham Bears (14 overs)

Tom Moores cuts Oliver Hannon-Dalby high to the point boundary into Jake Lintott's hands, but he tips it over the rope, much in the way Peter Shilton used to tip it over the bar very nearby a few years ago.

  6. Postpublished at 19:24 British Summer Time 30 June 2023

    Derbyshire 55-0 (6 overs) v Leicestershire

Just pride on the line at the Incora County Ground tonight, being realistic, although Derbyshire do have an outside chance of making the quarter-finals if they win their two remaining games.

They would need a lot to go their way elsewhere, mind. But they're on the way to fulfilling their side of the bargain, motoring past a half century without losing a wicket.

  7. wicket

WICKET James c Benjamin b Lintott 37published at 19:20 British Summer Time 30 June 2023

Notts Outlaws 104-4 v Birmingham Bears (13 overs)

  8. wicket

WICKET Haynes b Drissell 24published at 19:19 British Summer Time 30 June 2023

    Worcs 38-2 (4 overs) v Durham 216-4

    Fair play, George Drissell.

Jack Haynes hit him for 16 off the previous three balls but the Durham bowler splits the stumps with a wonderful delivery to gain sweet revenge.

Adam Hose joins Mitchell Santner at the crease in what will be a key partnership for the Pears.

for Pears' Haynes (two of 'em!)published at 19:15 British Summer Time 30 June 2023

    Worcs 36-1 (3.4 overs) v Durham 216-4

Umbrellas up at New Road - and Durham bring George Drissell into the attack. Drissell in the drizzle!

Rain not heavy enough to stop play yet but the umpires are monitoring it.

Worcestershire realising they might need to step up the rate in case their overs are reduced so Jack Haynes launches Drissell for six. And then another next ball!

Middlesex celebrate a wicketImage source, Rex Features

Essex will be greedily eyeing up victory over hapless Middlesex to stay on course for the quarter-finals. They're batting at Chelmsford having lost the toss and have lost both Feroze Khushi and Adam Rossington early - they're 21-2 in the third over.

Also on the top-four hunt are Hampshire, also inserted, by Glamorgan at the Ageas Bowl. They're 26-0 after three.

Somerset have reached halfway in good shape at Taunton - they're 99-2 against Surrey.

Also 10 overs in the books at Canterbury where Ravi Bopara is going well for Sussex, 32 not out from 17, and they're 108-4.

Despite those two early wickets, Sussex have still enjoyed an excellent powerplay.

Tom Clark has struck six fours and two sixes and is 45 from just 19 balls to lead his side to 73-2 after six overs.

At Taunton, Somerset also are going very well, with 66-1 from the powerplay overs.

Will Smeed is gone but Tom Banton is leading their progress with 29 from 18.

With Alex Hales gone cheaply, Notts Outlaws need a big innings from Joe Clarke.

As if on cue, he hits Oliver Hannon-Dalby for six and four to end the fifth over.

  19. Durham post 216-4 at New Roadpublished at 18:50 British Summer Time 30 June 2023

    Worcs v Durham 216-4 (20 overs)

Ashton Turner brings out the ramp for the final over of the Durham innings, hitting a six and three fours in the process.

A more routine pull shot goes for four in between thanks to a mis-field from Kashif Ali.

Worcestershire have fielded poorly. That was 28 they shipped off that final over. Adam Finch started it but seems he's injured as Dillon Pennington had to bowl the tail-end of it.

Turner finishes on 33 not out from 11 balls, Ollie Robinson 13 not out off 10. Earlier, Graham Clark hit 78 while Michael Jones and Brydon Carse both struck 38. Advantage Durham.

  20. South Group latestpublished at 18:44 British Summer Time 30 June 2023

Tom Banton has struck two fours and a six in the opening two overs at Taunton, where Somerset are batting first against Surrey having lost the toss.

    They’re 28-0 after three overs.

Also under way at Canterbury, where Kent are hoping to take a big step towards the quarter-finals against Sussex.
