Somerset 142-7 v Surrey 17-1
A slight hold-up as the wind blows the bails off.
Craig Overton then drops short and Jason Roy whips it away for four.
Not a good line by the tall Somerset seamer.
Somerset 142-7 v Surrey 13-1
Matt Henry overpitches and Jason Roy drills it through extra cover for four. A risk free stroke and a nice way for the England batter to ease himself into his innings.
Somerset 142-7 v Surrey 7-1
An easy single for Jason Roy as Matt Henry directs his first delivery onto the pads.
Will Jacks is down the pitch to the next, lifts his head as he tries to swing it away and the ball just misses leg stump.
Forget about the stumping at Lord's - we've seen the biggest controversy of the cricket season today.
Lanky the Giraffe appeared to steal a march on his opponents at the start of the Mascot Race, and there were some terrible scenes at the inflatable obstacles.
You be the judge...
Surrey 142-7 v Somerset 6-1
Jason Roy is in at three and immediately off strike with a leg bye.
Will Jacks can make nothing from the final delivery of Craig Overton's fine opening over.

Great delivery, full, straight and clatters off stump. Craig Overton looks in the mood.
Somerset 142-7 v Surrey 5-1
Having nominated Laurie Evans as Surrey's player to watch in this match, we are now scraping egg off our faces.
He leaves a huge gap between bat and pad, Craig Overton fires the ball through it and Evans is gone for a second-ball duck.

Despite some awful haircuts from Surrey this afternoon, a cracking fielding performance.

Credit to Surrey for such a disciplined performance with the ball, has to be said that is desperately disappointing by Somerset. Who haven’t turned up two finals running now.
Dave - Devon
Or have they, Dave...?
Somerset 142-7 v Surrey 4-0
No messing about by Will Jacks.
He goes up and over from Craig Overton's first ball.
It plugs in the ground a bit but has enough legs to reach the rope at long-off.

Somerset look a little deflated and dejected out there in their huddle. They don't look like a side that is going to go out there and defend that total. They are really up against it.
Somerset 142-7 v Surrey 0-0
Twenty years ago, Surrey won the inaugural T20 Cup by beating Warwickshire at Trent Bridge.
On such an anniversary, it would be sort of appropriate for them to contest the final again.
But don't write Somerset off yet. They know how to win in this competition and have got talented bowlers at their disposal.
Will Jacks - in his starling orange shoes - and Laurie Evans are the Surrey openers. Craig Overton will bowl the first over.
Here we go again.
Somerset 142-7 v Surrey - innings break
Surrey have two spinners in their team for this match - Will Jacks and Cameron Steel - but neither was called on by skipper Chris Jordan during Somerset's innings.
Their opponents won't have that option as they have fewer bowlers in their XI. Given their relatively low total, they need wickets as well accuracy from Ish Sodhi and/or Shoaib Bashir.

Somerset just couldn't get any momentum. Surrey bowled very well so well done them.

Surrey took every chance that came their way. The bowlers executed really well and they made none of the small mistakes that can be so costly in the shortest format.
Hats off to Sean Abbott - he took 4-23 off his four overs.
Matt Henry runs a single off Chris Jordan's first, and another yorker restricts Sean Dickson to one off the second.
Yorker number three sees two to Matt Henry, then a hoick to leg concedes another two.
A full toss can only be pumped straight for one off the fifth, and off the last an attempt at a reverse ramp lollops off the bat for one to Sean Dickson. Expert stuff from Jordan

Surrey can't do anything wrong at the moment. They've been so disciplined, the Surrey attack.

Surrey have bowled (and fielded) really well, but Somerset have saved their worst batting performance of the season for the biggest game... Very disappointing.
Nick, Somerset.
Paul Hilferty: Given the quality in Somerset’s batting line up, they’re probably 80 short of where they should be.
Somerset 134-7
Sam Curran sends down a fine over, mixing his pace and lengths up nicely to concede just five runs.
Somerset needs something very special off the last over.
