What a start for the Vipers. They couldn't have dreamt of this start - it's amazing.

If I was to be slightly critical, I think the bowling of the Thunder team has been either short or over-pitched.

Danni Wyatt followed her opening partner to a half-century just two balls later, bringing it up with a nudged single from 34 balls with nine fours.

The ball before she fell to Mahika Gaur, Bouchier flashes a drive through the fingers of Emma Lamb at extra cover. Thunder will be delighted she didn't make them pay for that missed opportunity.

Maia Bouchier wins the race to the half-century with two hard-struck fours in three balls. It took her 29 balls to get there. It has also brought up the Vipers 100. Blistering start.

Just seven off Tara Norris' second over and just one loose delivery as Danni Wyatt slams a full toss for a one bounce four through the covers.

93 at the midway point - this is sure to be an imposing total the Thunder find themselves facing here.

Wyatt is on 49 and Maia Bouchier has 43 from 27 deliveries.

It's showing that this is a fantastic wicket to be out there, batting first and setting a score in an eliminator.
