That's really good bowling from Dattani. That's where you try and bowl. Wonderful stuff.

  2. wicket

    WICKETpublished at 90 balls

    Kemp b Dattani 3 (Brave 139-4)

    Rockets' fightback continues!

Brilliant from Naomi Dattani, bowling full and straight to scuttle under Freya Kemp's bat and clatter into the stumps.

Brave's great start is going out with a bit of a whimper - can Tryon and Georgia Adams rescue it?

Kemp has been looking for the big shot but it has just not come off yet.

There's a real skill at this stage, having to just go for it from ball one.

  5. Brave 134-3published at 85 balls

South Africa batter Chloe Tryon joins Freya Kemp, both these batters able to hit big.

And Tryon starts in that style, pulling Bryony Smith for four more, as the quick wickets don't seem to be bothering them too much!

I think another 30/40 runs is what the Brave will be hoping for from this position.

  7. wicket

    WICKETpublished at 82 balls

    Mandhana c Gardner b Smith 55 (Brave 128-3)

And the pressure tells! A HUGE wicket!

Mandhana played the pull shot so well during that innings but it eventually gets her out as she hits it straight to Jo Gardner at square leg.

A key breakthrough for Trent Rockets as they try and squeeze the runs at the end of the innings.

  8. Brave 128-2published at 80 balls

A great fight-back from Alana King, who was expensive to start but now has a wicket and gone for 24 runs from her 15 balls so far.

Freya Kemp, who made her England debut last year before being ruled out by a back injury, is in at four.

A lot on Mandhana here to get Brave a big finish.

Alana King is such a difficult bowler to face.

Great knock from Bouchier. Alana King threw that one a little bit higher. Alexa Stonehouse would've been a bit nervous taking that one, the easier ones are the hardest ones to take.

  11. wicket

    WICKETpublished at 78 balls

    Bouchier c Stonehouse b King 31 (Brave 128-2)

    A much-needed breakthrough!

Bouchier goes for another big hit down the ground but can only edge the ball into the hands of Alexa Stonehouse.

Still, a very important innings - her 31 coming from just 18 balls and setting a great platform for her side.

A bit more Smriti Mandhana class for you to enjoy.

25 balls to go for Southern Brave - how many more can they get?

It's a very destructive batting line-up. Danni Wyatt gets out, and Maia Bouchier comes in and just carries on whacking it.

Great players like Mandhana, when they find the chance to score, always seem to find the gap.

50 for Smriti Mandhanapublished at 71 balls

    Brave 123-1

    First game, first half-century.

Smriti Mandhana pulls for four to bring up her fifty from just 33 balls. A classy innings and she's not given a chance.

Brave are set up for a very big score here.

That was so dismissive from the mighty Bouch.

  17. Brave 119-1published at 70 balls

    Wow!

Maia Bouchier is on fire. She gets a bit lucky with an edge for four but follows it with a crunching shot down the ground for another.

She has 28 from just 13 balls! Brave are absolutely cruising.

Trent Rockets will be hoping for a few more of these sometime soon...

  19. Brave 111-1published at 67 balls

    Oh, that's just class.

Smriti Mandhana effortlessly threads the ball for four past all three fielders on the off-side.

She's managing to hit the good balls to the boundary here. So good.

  20. Brave 106-1published at 65 balls

    Mandhana 44, Bouchier 20

The runs just keep flowing for Southern Brave as Mandhana pulls yet another four.

There are cries of 'catch' as the ball flies over the head of a fielder, but she hit it so hard - it would've been a special effort.
