What a set from Holden!
Another ramp shot only picks up two, but he clears up with the final delivery with another four through the covers that evades the fielders.
Max Holden is staging a fight-back here, pushing Shaheen through the covers, ramping him and then another wider cover drive for three successive fours.
Shaheen is going to continue for a second set.
Holden has the first boundary of the innings, picking up four through point.

Max Holden breathes a sigh relief. The Manchester Originals need more of these to stand any chance of winning.
Max Holden fends off the hat-trick ball and picks up two runs into mid-wicket.
Evans lbw b Shaheen 0 (Originals 0-2)
Two in two!
Laurie Evans is been and gone! Fast and cutting in and he raps Evans on the pad. He charges off to his fielders in celebration, a quick look back to check the umpire's finger is raised - it is!
Shaheen is on a hat-trick and we've got two slips.

Absolutely brilliant, that is what you got from Shaheen Afridi. He's got pace, he's got control. First ball. Wow, what a delivery.
Salt lbw b Shaheen 0 (Originals 0-1)
Gone!
Salt took a reasonable stride down the wicket but it looked out on first look and ball tracking agrees.
Shaheen has Phil Salt trapped in front!
The umpire raises their finger, Salt is sending it upstairs.

It's like a PSL fever in The Hundred.
The Welsh Fire players make back onto the pitch at Sophia Gardens in dappled sunshine.
They're followed by England internationals Jos Buttler and Phil Salt for Manchester Originals.
Shaheen Shah Afridi is pacing out his run-up. We're almost ready.

You could argue that the match-up between Shaheen Shah Afridi and Haris Rauf and the Originals' top order is the best in world cricket in terms of a contest between bat and ball.
I think we may be on our second play through of Prodigy's Firestarter at Sophia Gardens.
I suppose it's going to be your go-to team anthem.
Best song with Original in the title?
WinViz has it 78-22 in Welsh Fire's favour at the moment.
Agree?

This is definitely chaseable. Looking at the Originals line-up, they've got Jos Buttler, Phil Salt, Laurie Evans. They've got the firepower to do it.
What an innings from Luke Wells, Glenn Phillips had a strike rate of 158 in a 40-ball game, you would want that to be a little bit higher.
Thanks Sam - dare I say it, but there's a touch of blue sky looking over the back of the ground across the River Taff and Bute Park.
If only we'd had this earlier in the day for the women's game.
Right then, after that short, sharp but highly entertaining innings, it is time for me to depart.
I'll leave you in the extremely capable hands of Mike Peter for the Manchester Originals chase.
Here is one of three big sixes that Luke Wells hit in his blistering knock...
