The Hundred has had its share of issues with the weather so far this year. So what's the forecast at The Oval?

    Well... shall we say mixed?

It certainly looks a tad blustery out there, and while there has been some rain in the air, we've got blue skies at the moment. Don't be surprised if we see some rain delays, but we should get a game in.

Oval Invincibles captain Dane van Niekerk: "We would have had a bowl as well. We feel like we can chase anything on a beautiful ground like this. It would have just been wanting to get everyone out there and running around after the washout in our first game.

"What we've been doing has been working so its just about the cliches of processes. We're all enjoying each others company."

Welsh Fire captain Tammy Beaumont: "It was under covers yesterday but it looks a good pitch so it will be good to know what we need to chase.

"We've got a really tough start against both finalists after the wash out."

Welsh Fire captain Tammy Beaumont calls correctly and she puts the Oval Invincibles in to bat.

One change to the Welsh Fire line-up with Sophia Dunkley, who was unavailable for the first two matches, coming in for Alex Hartley. She makes her Fire debut after playing for Southern Brave in previous editions of the tournament.

The Oval Invincibles are putting out a line-up for a first time this year after their first game was rained off. They hand debuts to Lizzie Scott and Paige Scholfield.

Let me take you back to last summer (remember the sun?).

Oval Invincibles secured back-to-back titles in the women's Hundred, while Welsh Fire languished at the bottom of the table with one win from six.

Leap back to this year and Welsh Fire's fortunes might just be improving - they beat Southern Brave in a thriller on Friday and took the lead in the early table.

Meanwhile Oval Invincibles saw their first match against London Spirit washed out. They'll be keen to get out on the field and assert themselves as the premier team in this competition, but Welsh Fire present a stern test...
