The 50 is up for the Invincibles. Superchargers need a wicket and here comes Adil Rashid to try and provide it.

Anything that is pitching in Jordan Cox's half of the pitch he's going to try and take on.

  4. Invincibles 42-1published at 25 balls

It's Jordan Cox's turn to thump the ball to the fence this time, pulverised through mid-wicket this time.

A good powerplay for the Invincibles after losing Jason Roy first ball.

  5. Invincibles 37-1published at 22 balls

Reece Topley is back on but the boundaries keep coming!

Will Jacks carves the ball away backward of point and there's no stopping that.

There's an lbw shout next ball and Harry Brook on player mic cheekily asks whether the commentators can tell him if it pitched outside leg!

They can't and the Superchargers opt against the review.

  6. 'I'll be saying the banter to Roy's face'published at 18:42 British Summer Time 11 August 2023

Harry Brook on the player mic: "They've got some firepower up top and through the middle order to be honest. It was nice to see the back of J Roy first ball.

"I was happy to come out and play to be honest. I wanted to come out and practice a few things in my white-ball game. I want to work on a few things during The Hundred.

"The best place to practice is on the pitch, they might not come off. I am working on all sorts of things, manipulating the field more and rotate the strike."

  7. Invincibles 33-1published at 20 balls

Wayne Parnell brings himself on and after three singles to start his set, Will Jacks wallops the fourth through the covers for four!

That flew off the middle of the bat!

Will Jacks will want to put the bowling under pressure and get the captain thinking.

  9. Invincibles 25-1published at 15 balls

Better from Callum Parkinson to end that five-ball set, just a couple of singles from the last three balls.

Still, the Invincibles have got off to a quick start despite that first-ball wicket of Jason Roy.

  10. Invincibles 23-1published at 12 balls

Callum Parkinson continues, Jordan Cox is now on strike and drills the first ball of the set back down the ground for four!

Full toss now and Cox crashes that through the covers for another boundary.

  11. Invincibles 15-1published at 10 balls

It's Will Jacks rather Jordan Cox on strike but the left-arm spin of Callum Parkinson is still effective with three dot balls to start.

The next comes off Jacks' outside edge but runs away fine for four before a mistimed drive runs wide on mid-on for two.

And the Superchargers have turned to Callum Parkinson...

Jordan Cox is the new batter for Oval Invincibles.

He's having a good tournament so far but Northern Superchargers may want to turn to slow left-arm spinner Callum Parkinson to get him early.

Cox only averages 20.20 against the bowling type and has been dismissed 10 times in 186 balls in T20 cricket.

Will Jacks only averages 18.00 against left-arm spin too.

It could be a good match-up to get in now.

  14. Invincibles 9-1published at 5 balls

Lovely shot from Will Jacks, working the ball to the right of the mid-on fielder and away for four.

    Super timing.

Four more! Jacks has no control over this one as he is squared up by Reece Topley but the edge goes between slip and gully to the fence.

    An eventful start!

What has Roy done there? Reece Topley can't believe it.

He can be so destructive in the powerplay so Superchargers will be delighted with that.

It's a knee-high full toss, he'll be so annoyed with that.

    Gone first ball!

For the second time in this year's competition, Jason Roy has got a golden duck! He won't quite believe this one.

It's a knee-high full toss on the pads from Reece Topley and Roy flicks away and picks out Brydon Carse in the deep.

As for the Superchargers, they're going very well too.

A narrow victory over Trent Rockets last time out means they are second, behind the Invincibles only on net run-rate.

It wasn't just the brilliance of Spencer Johnson with the ball that helped the Invincibles to victory the other night.

Heinrich Klaasen was in pretty special form with the bat, too...
