Right then. The Northern Superchargers have their second win of the tournament in quite extraordinary fashion.

More from Lucy Higham, who took 3-29: "My first ball was a waist-high full toss that got hit for six so that wasn't ideal! Then with Nat [Sciver-Brunt], I knew I had to be brave. Luckily a bit of glove, onto stump into Bess's helmet!

"It's one of those tournament where you've got the best players in the world playing and it's a privilege to be a part of it.

"I'm chuffed to bits, it's nice to be able to go out and put in a performance like that."

Match Hero Northern Superchargers' Lucy Higham: "Not really sure how we managed that. I'm pretty glad there was 24 needed off the last because Katherine [Sciver-Brunt] got hold of me a bit.

"It was one of those games where we knew if we took it to the end, it would be close and I'm so proud of the girls. It was a really good effort to stick in there.

"I was pretty nervous. Bryony batted unbelievably well, she hits it a long way. But we knew if we took a couple of wickets, we were always in the game.

The result means Northern Superchargers are up to third in the table, a point behind Welsh fire and two behind Southern Brave.

Trent Rockets are second bottom, only above Oval Invincibles who play Manchester Originals today from 15:00 BST.

That was truly a collapse for the ages.

The Trent Rockets fell from 102-2, at which point they were in total control with 23 balls left, to 107-7 as Northern Superchargers surged to victory.

Bryony Smith must be bemused.

She smacked 70 from 44 balls in a run chase of 135 and ended up on the losing side.

Katherine Sciver-Brunt, looking utterly furious, slams a four and a six to finish but it's the Norther Superchargers who win.

At 102-2 the Rockets needed 33 runs from 23 balls with eight wickets in hand.

They now need 24 from the last five and only have three wickets left.

Trent Rockets have not lost a single wicket to pace, with all seven wickets falling to spin at an average of nine.

Katherine Sciver-Brunt is the new batter. She survives the hat-trick ball at least but there's only going to be one winner from here.
