  2. 'I can't believe it myself'published at 21:26 British Summer Time 9 August 2023

Oval Invincibles bowler Spencer Johnson on his Hundred debut: "Ridiculous, ridiculous. I can't believe it myself to be honest."

Could you see yourself being here?: "Definitely not, absolutely not, I guess I just keep riding that wave. I'm just pinching myself to get out there."

Where have you been?: "I've been around, I've had a bit of a tough run with injury but I've come out of the other side now, I'm loving it.

How long have you been here?: "I flew in on Monday morning, I was in Canada for a couple of weeks and the MLC before that in America. It would've been tough coming from Australia, it helped playing."

What has the journey been like?: "I guess I'm very lucky to have the support I do in South Australia, it did look pretty grim at times. I probably didn't feel like I'd ever get here, I'm very lucky to be here now."

Dreams of playing for Australia?: "Absolutely, watching The Ashes at home, I would've loved to be a part of it. Hopefully, one day down the track. That would be pretty cool.

  4. It's just amazing, close to a perfect win'published at 21:20 British Summer Time 9 August 2023

Oval Invincibles batter Will Jacks: "It's just amazing, as close to a perfect win as you could get. We knew scoring in the powerplay would be massive."

On the start: "I thought straight after the powerplay we had 51 which much have been the highest after three years."

Playing with freedom: "I was playing pretty freely. Coaching staff from The Hundred, any cricket at the moment I'm just playing with freedom. Some does it goes well others, it doesn't."

What's the plan now?: "A long bus trip tomorrow, a round of golf on Friday and then another whack on Saturday."

That's really nice timing from Jamie Overton. He just lets the ball come through to him.

    Ooooh, play that!

A swinging yorker from Spencer Johnson rattles through Tom Hartley's defences.

A top order batter would do well to keep that out, in fairness.
