  1. Southern Brave win the toss & bowlpublished at 14:36 British Summer Time 12 August 2023

In the women's game at Sophia Gardens, Southern Brave have won the toss and have opted to bowl first.

However, the rain has just restarted there and looks pretty grim, so further delays are likely.

    Rossington c Gregory b Cook 1 (Spirit 8-1)

    Breakthrough!

Adam Rossington looks to hit Sam Cook's first ball back down the ground but it goes straight up in the air and Lewis Gregory settles under it and takes the catch at mid-off.

Cook plays with Rossington at Essex so he'll enjoy that.

  3. Spirit 8-0published at Ball 5

    Four singles follow.

    Decent start for Spirit.

  4. Spirit 4-0published at Ball 1

Zak Crawley flicks the first ball past fine for four.

I'm having Ashes memories. Anyone else miss it massively?

Right, time for cricket at Lord's.

Luke Wood has the ball in hand.

There is also another game at 14:30 BST with Welsh Fire hosting Southern Brave in a top-of-the-table game in the women's competition.

The toss has been delayed in Cardiff, but should be taking place around 14:30 with the match starting at 15:00.

There will be updates from that game in this page, and you can listen to radio commentary over here.

London Spirit captain Dan Lawrence: "We were looking to bat first anyway. We've had some history here in the past winning by posting a score and then scrapping for our lives.

"The plans are always quite simple here. With the bat it is about getting a decent score on the board and then the ball is always to go spin a little bit and then apply some pressure."

Trent Rockets captain Lewis Gregory: "It looks a pretty decent wicket but it can be a little slow at Lord's. There is a short boundary and potentially some showers around so we're batting to bat second.

"We've got a similar group but we haven't quite got going with the bat at the top of the order yet this season, hopefully that is today.

"Captaincy is stressful but it's good at times, I've got an experienced group of players and they can pretty much look after themselves! Hopefully we can get on a roll."

  10. Rockets win toss and bowlpublished at 14:18 British Summer Time 12 August 2023

Lewis Gregory calls correctly and fancies having a chase later on.

We saw the threat of Luke Wood with the new ball the other day, can he deliver again today and restrict Spirit?

We've already seen some magic from Nat Sciver-Brunt to give Trent Rockets a win in the women's competition against London Spirit.

What does the men's game between the two sides have in store?
