  • Bairstow out for a duck on Fire return

  1. Brave 64-1published at 57 balls left

    Lovely shot.

David Payne drops short and Devon Conways just slaps it into the mid-wicket boundary.

He dealt with that with utter disdain.

  2. Brave 60-1published at 60 balls left

    Target 88

Welsh Fire are rightly chasing wickets still as Haris Rauf comes back into the attack.

He's able to restrict Brave to just two singles but you feel like he's just delaying the inevitable at this point.

That hat-trick ball will look good on the Mills mantelpiece.

  4. dropped catch

Du Plooy dropped on 0published at 67 balls left

Stand-in captain Leus du Plooy slices the ball up in the air as he looks to cut away.

David Payne comes hurtling in from the third boundary, and gets his hands to it, but it spills out.

He was struggling to stay in control as he dived forward.

  5. wicket

    Allen c Willey b Payne 31 (Brave 53-1)

The Finn Allen cameo comes to an end.

The New Zealand opener looks to clear David Willey on the long-on boundary but just drives it straight down his throat.

Allen has done this job though, scoring 31 off 22 balls to break the back of his chase of 88.

It's not often Van der Merwe gets things wrong but that ball will be so wet. He's trying to get dirt on to his hands to try and grip the ball better.

  8. Brave 50-0published at 75 balls left

    Target 88

Either way we're going to get a result now because we've had 25 balls in both innings.

Brave probably aren't going to need too many more with the way they are playing.

Finn Allen picks up another boundary with a crunching straight drive, before Roelof van der Merwe sends a wide down the leg side, and it runs away to the boundary for five wides.

In T20 cricket, Pakistan quick Haris Rauf has got Devon Conway out four times in six innings.

He's only conceded 37 runs off 33 balls too so Conway has an average of 9.25 and a strike-rate of 112 against Rauf.

  10. Brave 38-0published at 80 balls left

    Target 88

Devon Conway is a serious player.

Haris Rauf drops a little short and Conway just works off his hip for four, before playing a square drive through point for another boundary.

Three in a row and Brave are cruising. If the rain stays away.

  11. Fire 30-0published at 82 balls left

    Target 88

    Lovely shot.

Haris Rauf strays onto the pads of Devon Conway and he just short-arm jabs past short fine leg and away to the boundary.

    The rain is back.

The coverage looks very misty all of a sudden.

We're still eight balls short of a game at the moment. Only 17 have been bowled.

What is that?! That is a ridiculous cricket shot.

  15. Brave 25-0published at 85 balls left

    Target 88

    Uff, shot!

Finn Allen squares up to Shaheen Afridi and flips it over the for four.

It comes off the toe-end of the bat, but still, there's some serious bravery to play that shot to Shaheen Afridi.

The wind has blown the rain away I think.

It seems to have stopped for now.

Here's how Tymal Mills finished the Welsh Fire innings with a hat-trick.

  18. Brave 18-0published at 90 balls left

    Target 88

Finn Allen is just playing a shot at everything at the moment. A thick outside edge flies over short third and races to the boundary.

There's some rain in the air now, but it is incredibly windy so it may blow through quickly.

We need a minimum of 25 balls for a game.

  19. Brave 14-0published at 93 balls left

I get the impression Finn Allen wants this done quickly.

He gets across outside off stump and ramps David Willey over short fine leg for six.

    Superb shot.

  20. Brave 8-0published at 94 balls left

    Target 88

It will be England seamer David Willey to bowl the next set.

Finn Allen crunches his first ball through mid-wicket for four.
